I said in discord like that before. I said I think of the soft reset as cleaning a hoarder's house. The hoarder can't keep hoarding without removing stuff or expanding the house. Since we cant expand the house, hoarder has to pack their belongings and come back to cleaned house to hoard again. And builds in server is basically part of the house, the hoarder can't bring say a wall because they love it too much.  I am a hoarder but not that big of a hoarder. I hoard skulls and maps and other shenaningans thanks to you!!! lul and as for Phat0m. Yes i do hoard certain thing.. and yes i do have diamonds i dont show off.. i spent on stuff that i need and also I am not a big competitor. I hoard certain stuff to use it for building. I like to create stuff since I spent most of my almost 3 years on the server helping other players in building their stuff. I do give away my hoarded stuff though. I am competitor but not a great level. I even built my first comp built at the summer comp. Juls you are a bad mad robot!!! |

zero voted soft reset cause A. keep stuff B. zeroh wants diamonds asap C. idk anymore also meehan should steal the egg if there is a soft reset/hard reset or else players will fight for the new egg

I haven't figured out a way on how I'm going to decide that yet. We'll try to get the world download out though in the event of either full or soft reset. If just the nether is reset, would a world download be an option there too? Yep |

Ever sense these reset conversations started i decided to play single player did a few speed runs killed the dragon and what i found is that it was lonely. I like this community i like the memories i created and i would like to hold on to those memories I chose a soft reset because i care about the skulls, the maps, and the banners that ive collected so far. From both me adding to my little treasure trove from cool things i did to being welcomed to other communities earning me things such as the summer town banner or the fish town sheild both of which i still have and appreciate. I feel as if a full reset will not just erase these places themselves but the momentos as well.

This doesn't resolve the issue in anyway shape or form as many of the items were share with me in confidence for some reason or another to give even one of these to you would be to betray that trust that i was shown. |

Important note to the voters.
At the conclusion of this poll, I will be checking that every single voter matches with a user on Simplex. I will do this by cross-checking your forum IP with your in-game IP. Those whose forum IP's do not match with their in-game IP will be asked for further confirmation with an in-game mail.
What can you do to speed up this process? Please, if you last logged in to the forum with your phone's internet or another wireless network which you haven't used to log into the Simplex server, log in to the forum with an IP you have used on the server. Those whose IP's match will automatically be verified.
What else can you do? Make sure your forum username matches with your Minecraft username. If we cannot find a match on either an IP or a username, we will be forced to delete the account from the forum to negate your vote.

This poll isn't final. There will be on additional poll between the top two options because a supermajority wasn't reached. In this case, between Nether Reset and Soft Reset.

PLEASE No RESET I HAVE 4 years of stuff on here and these are best builds on minecraft ever. IT makes more sense to just do a nether update and not expand the map because all the content is in the nether not the overworld PLS No RESET I BEG

Yo, just wondering if there's a rough date for the update yet? Is there going to be another round of voting after this one? Need to know how long I have to finish packing up all my good stuff and making it safe for the reboot.
Also what is a soft reset?
