Hi all!
Simplex will soon be upgraded to Minecraft 1.21, here is the plan.
When / down time
Start: Monday July 8th, around 16:30(4:30pm) Central European Summer Time (CEST). Convert to your time zone HERE or see discord announcement where it converts to your time zone automatically.
End: Upgrade will take a little bit of time, but probably no more than an hour.
Border expansion
The border for the overworld and the nether dimension will be expanded like this:
Current border radius: 22000
New border radius: 24000
1.21 terrain will then be found outside of the old border of 22000.
End dimension
The end dimension will reset during the upgrade, the current radius of 20000 will be kept.
As usual for end resets, we have a no-reset-zone in the middle that will not reset: from block 1023,1023 to block -1024,-1024.

Since we skipped 1.20.5/6 all together, there will be more changes than just those for 1.21:
