I feel we do a good job weeding out the troublesome players. I find that the players complaining about us most are the ones who don't listen to staff members and choose not to read and follow the rules and get upset because they get punished for it. I agree the rules can be a bit vague but the vast majority of the players here have also never needed to be warned or punished for anything. They have something I like to call "common sense." If we make a huge wall of rules with every possible thing that can happen even less people will read them or even just quit when seeing them. I hate when people try claiming "that wasnt mentioned in the rules." If unsure about something, good players will ask rather than just do it. My only criticism is, like veil mentioned, some members of the staff sometimes make comments that are not productive or necessary or even kinda disrespectful which may just make bad situations even worse. Every situation we encounter is different and every player responds differently when we ask them to stop doing something. With problems in chat for example, rather that warn one, two, and three times, I think we need to be consistent and maybe warn only one time and then punish as not to drag these situations out longer on the server than needed. Some people just wait out their short mutes for example and just continue being a problem just get muted longer and longer and longer. I think it should be taken to an appeal on the forum rather than a discusion in game.

What i dont understand kitty is that you think it more important to address the fact that you supposedly ‘rekt’ him, you ignored the whole point of the post. Also i dont believe anyone in their right mind1 would vote ‘amazingly’ on this post. This leads me to think that mods are all ganging up on forum posts that they dont like, this should not be the case and I believe that mods shouldn’t be able to vote on these things. I would also like to thank you for enforcing my ban correctly unlike a couple others that i have heard of that i wont mention.

Shadowace625 he is 14 and cyber bullying shouldn’t be an issue no matter how old the victim is. And considering the majority of the minecraft community are minors i dont see it fit that you assume ones age.

Cptclorx listen. We have the set rules. They are enforced by each staff member the same or almost the same way. I for one will say I show absolutely no rule breaker favortisem. Say for example you start spamming the server so and so is an ass. You would get a 10min mute and a separation from said player. If you continue after that mute expires then I nor.ally go for the throat and give you a mute for the day. Another example any form of newcomer that acts like a troll is an auto soft mute. Now let's go to nix's case for an example. He said alot over his time being a player. Maybe he didn't get any punishments but then he hit that fuse and got a perm mute that then turned temporary. What he said was under called for and we needed to show that we will not take bullying lightly. So now theft is an auto 3-5 day jail depending on the amount for the first time (same applies for greifing) 2nd time will either be a extended jail time or temp ban and 3rd time is a perm ban. X-ray is handled the same for everyone as well... 7d ban for 1st offence perm for 2nd offence and sometimes they will even get a third try if they seem like they will not x-ray again. Now with xrayers I will try and to get that player to admit they used x-ray if they do then I will lessen their ban and take their stuff. Pretty much all staff follow this system. However we are all human we are not robots we can't do the exact same thing and don't think the exact same way. There also is the factor that not all cases are the same as well. There have been those hey this never happened before what should I do. So not I will end with this. There is no favortisem that staff give to players and if you have any complaints about staff send Meehan a message or ever send a message to that staff member or the entire staff team.

If anyone has any constructive criticism for the staff I urge you to speak up. But this is someone who is incoherently rambling after he got a fair and just ban. He pretends to speak for the majority who follow the rules, but in actuality speaks for the minority who does not. What he says has no meaning or weight to me for that reason. On the other hand, I would appreciate honest criticism from people of the majority. "rekt" is that enough a mother that drinks told a 14 year old "rekt" after he was informed of the rules. "But Kitty.....the true question is who rekt him the most" This is coming from someone, who a few days earlier asked what the chances are of becoming a mod. "Teamwork ftw!" A comment that really compliments what kitty had said. I think the only people who actually took this seriously was Snurre and Veilstar. And i'm not including ken just because he said "an elite group of players" just because they play a lot doesn't mean they are morally correct in any sense ken. And mark, this is a minecraft server full of kids, "common sense" isn't something they learn right away. Its the choices they make in life which corrects their vision. This is all just my opinion, and I hope it counts considering I've played on here a long time as well, which is the best way to tell if someone is mature or not, right? EDIT: By the way ken you just called shadowace out even though he was on your side! Oh please ken I would LOVE if you explained, instead of trying to attack me, how about you think about what you write first? Instead of editing your post afterwards to cover up your mistakes, take a good look at yourself and think why did I just call someone out for a mistake I made? I will admit that I made a mistake and changed it. The way you came at me though and came at the rest of the staff team was immature. I would have said the exact thing even if you didn't bring me up in that post. In the end this topic has honestly gotten off track and really should get back on. If you have any constructive criticism please do bring it up. Don't give us settle jabs. I have not seen anyone in this post try and step up and join the staff team to try and "fix staff". If you did maybe you would see what we go through daily. In the end its almost like the United States... Fix the police. They are just trying to do their jobs and some times things happen where everyone starts pointing fingers. We need to learn how to work with each other. People just need to follow the rules and not get butthurt if they get banned when they don't follow them.

This is a minecraft server, minecraft is mainly populated by children you cant expect for a child to come up with a 5 paragraph essay, especially when that child has anger issues and was upset that he couldn't get his friend to come play with him! You guys are all acting like this is a server mainly populated by mature adults. But no it's not, the server has a few mature adults, a few adults, a lot of children. Notice how I distinguished between adults and mature adults. The mature ones are the ones who can take things seriously, because they understand that minecraft is a game populated by children. The childlike adults are the ones who let ignorance blind them! And I just want to point out, this is all my opinion, don't subject coolbone to any more bullying. Here are the facts staff members, take notes. 1. Minecraft is a video game. 2. Minecraft is mainly populated by children. 3. This isn't running a country, its running a daycare, you have to treat everyone with respect and treat everyone fairly, even if what they say doesn't make sense at first. 4. If you've ever noticed ken, most kids dont use the forums. They only really come on for seeing who should be promoted or not. What you go through daily? I'm sorry but i am not sympathetic, you all signed up to be staff members. And i'm sorry but this is nothing related to fixing police, one group is armed with weapons that can kill people another group is armed with commands that can ban children. |

Nix I understand what you are saying here. For the talking out with the older players yes it makes sense but then we still get into that touchy situation of a let's say veteran stole from a shop and we do the normal 3 days jail. We can't just let the good ranked player steal from he shop and give them an oh go ahead no jail just don't do it again. Because if we did that then the vet would make a post about how he was unfairly treated because he is a somewhat newer player. As for the discord issue some people just don't like voice chat. Personally as a 24 year old I don't like to spend my time on a voice chat with 9-15 year olds. Also I just don't have the time to do that. When I'm online I'm barely playing I'm more or less monitoring chat as I'm doing homework and other things. But again it's understandable what you are asking for. For some people it's easy to do others it's not.
