Advertising other servers via chat, /msg, sign, renaming items, ect is against the rules and will be stopped immediately and permanently. If Nurikoh is your friend, surly they will have your Discord info in which you are free to PM them where you will be at. If you are leaving, please don't let the door hit you on the way out. Advertising another server is one of the worst offences you can commit and you've been caught doing it twice. How many times did you do it without us knowing? Don't act like this isn't entirely your own fault.

I just feel like you're not understanding the point they are trying to make. On basically any server it is against the rules to advertise other servers if it's discord or game chat, you were warned. I just don't see what's so hard to understand. You advertised servers twice and were rightfully punished. The rules are not to strict and you are just over reacting. Stop acting like a child. It is just a game.

"please fix staff" this is cute. So you want Meehan to remove me (the guy who banned you) because I banned you for advertising that server? Like in what world does that make sense? This staff team is an elite group of players from the server. I have never worked on a staff team that was better than this one. Instead of fixing the staff team we need to fix the players that constantly break the rules. You broke a rule that is literally a rule on every Minecraft server. I have not once seen a server say hey come here and advertise it's cool. So maybe instead of coming at the staff team saying we need to be fixed take a long hard look at your actions hopefully you will come to the realization that you are the one who needs to be fixed.

Yeah let's attack him for advertising a server when that wasn't what this thread was about. Lmao. He was still going on about how just in general the rules are vague and often times there are inconsistencies and sometimes maybe even biases, where some people get away with things when others don't. And how some players get punished with no warning for things that weren't in the rules. But yeah, instead of focusing on the real issue that this thread was about let's make it about his advertising, which I agree he shouldn't have done on the server, but tbh if these issues had been take seriously in the first place maybe players wouldn't have been looking elsewhere to spend their time. But it's not likely these real problems will be solved any time soon, because even in a thread made to point them out, even if it was a sloppy and hostile thread, they're simply just ignored.

This is a Minecraft server, it's not a country.
We don't have a law, nor a justice system to make everyone get the 100% correct punishment for whatever they are doing wrong.
We have simple rules to follow, and staff members do punishment from what they think is right, based on some guidelines meehan made.
If some of us feels like we're not sure what to do, we discuss it with the other staff members.

Like look, I agree that some of the comments by staff are out of place and counter productive, but CoolBone's post pointed nothing in specific out. Nothing was elaborated on. No examples were shown. No attempt at actually addressing anything was made. You can't possibly expect a badly written post that vaguely mentions what is supposed to be the point of said post to be effective at addressing said point. If give us nothing concrete to work with it will for sure not go anywhere. |

If anyone has any constructive criticism for the staff I urge you to speak up. But this is someone who is incoherently rambling after he got a fair and just ban. He pretends to speak for the majority who follow the rules, but in actuality speaks for the minority who does not. What he says has no meaning or weight to me for that reason. On the other hand, I would appreciate honest criticism from people of the majority.
