Not really, no.

As long as you don't build a machine that's causing lag on purpose or use a billion pistons that constantly fire you should be fine with pretty much any farm you'd build as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't worry too much about it, just do your thing (as long as your thing isn't making machines that cause lag on purpose).

(Maybe opening a new thread is a better idea, btw. lol)
