Let me start off by saying I don't doubt any moderators on their choices. But I do wish that I got some sort of explication before a "Helper" PurpleParis confiscated my diamond armor set. Among this set I had an enchanted chest plate: the incident occurred on Friday, July 21st @ 3:00AM CST. I witnessed PurpleParis on the upper floor of MY claimed structure. They proceeded to look through my shulker boxes. I repeatedly questioned why a helper was present --- I even "/helpop PurpleParis" the same question and after all my attempts for a response failed, I just greeted them with a salutation, only to receive a simple hello in return. Moreover, the combination of my frustrations (once I noticed the armor from my box was missing) as well as the lack of communication drove me to take my efforts to the general chat. ONLY THERE on gen. chat did I receive clarification on the matter.
PurpleParis claimed that the armor set was a product of a hack. I will never condone the use of 3rd party programs, hacks, etc. for the gain of resources---I mean come on, it's minecraft. If you can't see to get our stuff on your own then don't play. But going back to the matter, before I get off on a tangent, I am disappointed the [H] did not explicate their grounds for taking my armor set before they took action. The aforementioned hack was "Xray". And I don't use hacks, so I had no clue what it was. The armor set was indeed in my shulker box before midnight and PurpleParis claimed (at 3AM) that the perpetrator of said hack opened my container, so they had reason to take it.
I wish to have my diamond armor set, but it's only a game and I'll work on it again for the fourth time; however, where legalities lie on this issue I understand that punishments need to be in effect. But we need to improve our communication as well as see to it that we punish those who deserve it and not indirectly fault those w/o explaining their case.
