For those who do not know me, I have been a player on this server since maybe a month or so after its creation and was even a Helper/Moderator for most of that time. I have seen lots of players come and go (sometimes even by my hammer) and I have seen the community and server grow from its small beginning into what it has become today. I like to mess around and have a good time. In my mind, games like this are meant to be fun and a nice break from the monotony, which for me, is getting up and going to work every day. If you are playing a game and not having fun... in my mind, something’s wrong.
As a Moderator on Simplex, I loved helping people such as helping starters build their first home, donating items, or even answering questions and giving advice. But being staff isn’t always so easy. You may get a shiny green badge and fancy powers, but you must also deal with people who like to fight and argue no matter how wrong they are or just simply for the heck of it. You can’t please everyone no matter how hard you try. For me, being staff started to feel like a chore and stopped being fun, which is why I left and decided to be a player again.
I took a break and It’s been months now. I have since started playing on simplex again and have met many great new players. Simplex is a wonderful server and I miss being a big part of it. I have since started working at a new location and cannot put as much time into playing as I had done before. I have experience Moderating on Simplex and I want to reapply and be a part of the staff team again. That is… if you guys want me back!
