Seems rather ironic that someone with the name "IHAXMC" is giving advice on how hackers should be dealt with. You also seems to be rather educated on the subject of hacking too I wonder why.

We have plugins to prevent a lot of hacking. We are forgiving for pretty much any first offence. We like our players and believe they will know we aren't going to tolerate rule violations. We like to see them change when they come back and if they dont we get more strict. As for staff, we aren't 12 year olds who think its fun to have hacked clients. Just like our players we enjoy the basics of simplex. Thats why its particularly tough to get on the staff team, the current staff has to trust the player applying with other qualities we look for. But if a staff does step out of line the forums are here for that as well as PM-ing upper staff on discord. Things run just fine as things are, so why try to change something that isnt broken? Thank you for your suggestions.

As for staff, we aren't 12 year olds who think its fun to have hacked clients. pfft... hacked clients are fun!!! they are kinda useless due to the anti-cheat plugins. trust me, i've tried.. i just wanna fly mah boat! its hard to make a list of guidelines for everything the staff can encounter in game which is probably why the rules are so broad. having mature staff members who know how and when to enforce them is what matters. we all try to have fun here, staff included, which is why i believe they are also so lenient on the punishments. its just a game. while i was staff i saw two kinds of cheaters/troublemakers. people who basically just ruin the game for themselves.. and people who try and ruin the game for others. the second type is the ones that i think deserve harsher punishment. at least that's how i see it. also malicious hacks only 12d? death threat 1d mute? DDoS only 2w mute? all should be a perm imo. let em try and appeal if caught doing anything like that. |

Malicous means when they are hacking buy there not showing it off NON malicoius hacks are when theres no proff but caught on someone reporting that guy

In my opinion, attrocious use of grammar and poor spelling should be a 30 day ban. Repeat offenders will get a 60 day ban, a 90 day ban, and then a permanent ban. Further, the use of letters for words, such as u for you should result in the offender being required to retake elementary school english classes. 😀

If you did not know there are 3 types of hackers: The White Hat Hacker- Is hired by companies to improve/protect their websites The Black Hat Hacker- Hacks just to help themselves but can harm others by doing that The Grey Hat Hacker (The hardest to detect and understand)- Can hack illegally but not for their own good. (Example: Hacking an evil company but gives all the money to charity) Some people know how to hack(like myself) but that does not make them bad hackers necessarily. |
