Normal vanilla anvils have a capacity to only combine and repair upto 40 enchantment levels .After that it says that it is too expensive to repair or combine any kind of books or tools or weapons or armour. what I would like to suggest s to add in a plugin which enables players to enchant items above that limit. it will not add any kind of extra enchants only the limit to enchanting, repairing and combining will be increased .This plugin is called a super enchant plugin. Please see if it is possible to incorporate it on the simplex server as it would be a great way for people to get op stuff and not start from scratch all over again .
Thank you,

Servers can code for a command such as /repair that would enable a person to repair an item which would otherwise be too expensive. However, I think the addition of such a command would degrade the Vanilla atmosphere and wouldn't fit with the current server. In my opinion, not being able to repair an item because it is too expensive is part of the game, and that is something you'll have to live with. A great alternative is the mending enchant on an item. Many people sell them for between 3 and 5 Diamonds in-game.

No. Just be more careful enchanting and combining. There's no combination of enchants that's impossible to achieve, and thanks to mending it's always possible to repair your item too (assuming that you've been 'careful' as mentioned previously).

...no combination of enchants that's impossible to achieve... What about a sword with Sharpness, Fire Aspect, Knockback, Looting, Sweeping Edge, Unbreaking, Mending, AND Curse of Vanishing for some reason?

I'm going to assume that the Curse of Vanishing enchant would come from an End City, in which case all the other enchants can be placed by combining books together to reduce the times needed to enchant the sword. I'm sure there is better way to do this, but if I wanted such a combination that's the way I would do it.

Starting with a fresh diamond sword, impossible.

What about a sword with Sharpness, Fire Aspect, Knockback, Looting, Sweeping Edge, Unbreaking, Mending, AND Curse of Vanishing for some reason? Still possible, as Massani explained. But yeah, you can't have more than 6 enchants on a sword if you enchant an unenchanted diamond sword with books only. You have to enchant it through an enchanting table or (ideally) have it come pre-enchanted as loot for this.
