What makes a good helper, moderator, or administrator? I believe that a person who carries such title(s) should hold themselves to a standard above the rest.
I believe in duty, honor, and loyalty. Duty to uphold and enforce the rules laid down by the person in charge of any community. Honor should drive a person to do the best they can with the tools provided to them, and to hold themselves accountable for their actions. I believe that loyalty to the community should be paramount in any form.
Should Massani be a helper? I have zero to little experience being an admin on a Minecraft server, but I consider myself a quick study. I’ve had experience running and administrating other game servers from long ago. I’ve been a founder and leader of a multi-gaming community that ranged from FPS to MMOs. My ultimate goal moving forward is to be more than a helper but to assist at a higher level. Given time I would hope to prove myself to be more of an asset to the staff rather than to be just a player.
I have no family. I live alone. No pets, no hobbies. I work my 40 hours a week to pay the bills, sleep and play video games ranging from Minecraft to GTA5 to Mass Effect to The Old Republic.
I’m here at Simplex, because of the rules and community. I have been to other servers, been part of other communities and Simplex is, no pun intended, simply a place I would call home when playing Minecraft.
