so i resently died....no suprise there lol, but my good awsome gear died with the sea that i worked so hard on. now i have to dig up more diamonds and make new gear and enchant all them again. i was wondering as i work on them again....what is the best gear there is anyway? maybe i didnt enchant them good? or the enchantments were lame? my sword hardly did damage to the elder guardian fish and he and his friends mean fish killed me. so what is the best gear? ill work hard cuz im tired of losing so much of my hard work to a few fish.

Diamond Sword:
Sharpness V (Replace with Smite V if killing withers)
Fire Aspect II (Leave this off if you plan to kill lots of wild endermen)
Knockback II
Looting III
Sweeping Edge III
Unbreaking III
Mending
Bow:
Power V
Punch II
Flame
Infinity/Mending (Use Mending only if you have a large amount of arrows)
Unbreaking III
Diamond Helmet (Note: Protection IV, Unbreaking III and Mending should go on all armor pieces, so they aren't written):
Respiration III
Aqua Affinity
Diamond Chestplate:
Thorns III (Uses durability faster than normal, only use if you also have Unb. III and/or Mending. Thorns can also be used on all armor pieces, but requires Enchanted Books.)
Diamond Leggings:
No extra enchants
Diamond Boots:
Depth Strider III/Frost Walker II (Your choice as to which one.
Feather Falling IV
Do you need picks, axes, and shovels too?

P.S. If fighting Elder Guardians, I recommend a Strength II potion (Nether Wart + Blaze Powder + Glowstone). Strength II plus maxed-out (all enchantments) diamond sword can kill an Elder Guardian in just a few hits, as long as they aren't spam-click-hits, which do 1/2 hearts if damage :/
