spawn ideas?

Are there any plans to expand or improve spawn? It is literally the first thing people see when joining the server and I'm only asking because I feel it is pretty basic. I know its supposed to be a simple survival server but that doesn't mean we can't build something amazing and memorable. There are many awesome builders on this server and I think It would be cool if they got a chance to show off that creativity. I ran into a lot of cool creations but didn't think to screenshot them. Here's one I remember how to find though..



I'm not saying to go into creative and build diamond walkways or gold houses or anything like that. I'm just asking if we could liven it up a bit. Cool things can and have been built in survival. I'd offer to help, but I'm more of an explorer not a creator. If anyone has a good idea I'd be willing to help build it.

A lot of people on the server have shown interest in creating shops and also I noticed a sign near spawn referencing a community farm. Can we also make that happen? Again I know its meant to be a simple survival server but I feel a plug-in to make shop creation and trading easier wouldn't hurt.

                       


This is a great server with a very friendly community. Just throwing some ideas out there....
