It is almost time to wrap this event up! From now until the start of this event, voting will be open on the Simplex Discord in #simplex! If you do not have access to the discord, message me your top 3 plots from each of 4 competitions and I'll add your votes to the total!
Starting Time: Sunday, July 21st at 1PM Texas Time. 1PM Central Daylight Time (GMT-5). 6PM GMT.
This is the time that the Event starts. Since the following events all don't have a set time limit, it is recommended that you arrive at this time to not miss out on any of the festivities!
Map Art Competition Winners
First up will be the announcement of the Minecraft Screenshot Map Art Competition Winners! The poll on the discord will be closed and the winners will be announced. After these winners are announced they will be given their prizes.
Drop Party #1
After the Map Art winners comes the first of two drop parties. This is basically where I stand up in a high place and drop items down to y'all and whoever picks the items up wins the items! Items can include Diamonds, Netherite, Map Art vouchers, SD Auction Vouchers, Event Trigger Books, along with any items not found during the shulker hunts! I've included some tricky water streams this time around so you'll never know which hole the items might come flying out of!
Boat/Ship Build Comp Winners
After the 1st Drop Party I will be announcing the winners of the Boat/Ship Build Comp. The poll on the discord will be closed and the winners will be announced. After these winners are announced they will be given their prizes!
Naming of the Event Area
Like the last 3 years, you the player will be able to name the event area! When the time comes, message me name suggestions and I'll have everyone vote on them. You can message me as many name suggestions as you want. Unless I am paid 64DB by Sunday, any mention of Choo will not be allowed. After we announce the winners of the Boat/Ship build comp, we will vote in elimination style to decide the name for this event area! We may also vote on some themes for Summer Events 2025!

After we name the Event Area I will be announcing the winners of the Video Game Build Comp. The poll on the discord will be closed and the winners will be announced. After these winners are announced they will be given their prizes!
Drop Party #2
After the Video Game winners comes the second drop party. I will be standing in the same high place and drop items down to y'all and whoever picks the items up wins the items! Items can include Diamonds, Netherite, Map Art vouchers, SD Auction Vouchers, Event Trigger Books, along with any items not found during the shulker hunts! I might drop items even faster, and in some new pipes as well, so keep an eye out on those exit holes!
Fill the Gap Build Comp Winners
After the 2nd Drop Party I will be announcing the winners of the Fill the Gap Build Comp. The poll on the discord will be closed and the winners will be announced. After these winners are announced they will be given their prizes! Counting up the points for this part of the event may take slightly longer, so be patient lol.
Changes to Event Prizes Announcement
Like last year, I got a new announcement to announce to y'all. I don't want to spoil too much but I you are ready for more types of diamond filled events!
Sunset Fireworks
And finally at Sunset I will be launching fireworks over the from of the area! I'll take everyone up to the viewing area but players are free to move around or fly to a different spot to watch if they so desire. Watching fireworks is the perfect time for you to think back on all the memories you made this summer and its the perfect time for me to think about how I should really find an easier way to host these Summer Events that won't cause me so much stress. Either way I'll hopefully be seeing you all again next Summer! Oh also, while the fireworks are going off be sure to pick up your limited edition Summer Events 2024 bonus prize which will be available if you participated in one of the four build comps as well as a chest in the firework viewing area.
