Can you believe it? A week has already pasted since the start of Summer Events 2024! It is now time for the Hide & Seek Events! Wait what's that? The area isn't well suited for players to hide in? Wait we've already had multiple players fall down into death pits that I've accidentally created? Well that's not good... I think I'm going to not let y'all hide this year, though I may put on more hide and seek events later in the year to make up for it. Looks like we'll need another small event to replace that part of the hide and seek event hmm... Oh I know!
Melting Ice Boat Event is a name that is subject to change if anyone has any better ideas. The gist of the event is simple, you are in a boat, that boat is on ice. If you fall off the ice, you are eliminated. Now you might be asking what type of ice will it be? Is it normal ice that melts near the light? Is it blue ice that makes you move up to 72 blocks a second? We'll its neither of those, its frosted ice! I.E. Ice from frost walker boots that melt in the day, and stays at night. I'll be leading you around my Event Ocean past other summer events, who knows maybe we'll end up at the egg hunt islands. Anyways yeah, follow the Ice maker, choo, and be the last player boating on the ice. Don't worry if you fall off, players tend to get ejected out of boats for a second or two and that gives you just enough time to steal their ride and get back in the race! So even if you get eliminated, stick close by the pack and you may be able to rejoin!
Type: Hide & Seek: Choo Hides, Players Seek.
Dates: June 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th.
July 6th, 7th.
Times: 11 AM Central Daylight Time (GMT-5)
4 PM GMT.
Duration: However long it takes y'all to find me, though max of 4 hours.
Type: Melting Ice Boat Event.
Dates: June 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th.
July 6th, 7th.
Times: 3 PM Central Daylight Time (GMT-5)
8 PM GMT.
Duration: However long it takes for only 1 player to remain boating. We may do best of 3 rounds depending on how long the first event takes and what other players are thinking.
Prizes:
Netherite Upgrade + Ingot, Elytra, Enchanted Golden Apple, Recovery Compass, Elytra, 1 Beacon Setup, Netherite Upgrade x2 + Ingot x2, 16 Diamond Blocks, Map Art Voucher, Event Trigger Book: Simplex Quests, 9 Stacks of different types of Mineral Blocks (No diamond or netherite), Relic Disc.
Like last years, the prizes will be randomized and you won't know what the prize is till someone has won it!
