there was a post already made to feedback about this a few years ago ( forum.simplexmc.com/thread/2259/armorstands) but since there wasn't an answer in the thread i'm making a new thread asking could armor stand posing could be added to the sever? it wouldn't make the server less vanilla in my opinion as it only changes how armor stands can look, creating scenes with armor stand people is my favorite thing to make in mc and i think it would be a very fun addition  |

I'm a fan of this inclusion. It would make for good story telling or whatever you would use it for.

I thought I answered this a while ago, but apparently not  I've been wanting to add this too, for those small decorations and display here and there. But I havent done it, for one reason, and that is again unfortunately because of lag concerns. (plus the usual "vanilla enough" discussion). If we were to add this, then we open up endless posibilities. I have seen many really good armor stand decorations, creations of huge and complex structures, animals, big scenes etc(look up ZombieCleo at youtube), and that will of course also happen at Simplex if we add it. The issue with those is that a single complex decoration can consist of several hundred armor stands. Having an area with many decorations withing render distance can then include several thousands armor stands loaded by just one player. Add more players and... You get the picture So the short answer is: Unfortunately no, at least for now, because of lag concerns. |

You get the picture So the short answer is: Unfortunately no, at least for now, because of lag concerns. yea ive downloaded worlds with armor stand stuff, the lag builds up pretty fast when people use it for decoration a lot so i def get the lag problem. i wish minecraft would add bedrock-like armor stand posing in vanilla ;-; |
