You know I'm thinking about doing one of these but with PvP enabled, but don't worry that won't be the one this year for Summer Events, If you don't know what Shulker Hunts are let me explain. They are similar to our yearly "Egg Hunts" where you have to search an area for shulker boxes and once you find one, you can take some or all of the items inside of it. There are a few differences between these 2 types of hunts though the biggest difference is that there is a set number of about 30-50 shulkers in Shulker Hunts as opposed to the hundreds of shulkers in Egg Hunts. Shulker Hunts also label the shulker boxes with the section it is in along with the number of the shulker box. Meaning if you keep track of where shulker boxes are found, you can guesstimate the area that other shulker boxes are located in.
Rules: The standard server rules apply to this event (like all other events) along with the following rules:
-There are 2 Days of Shulker Hunts, you can only come to ONE of the days. You can NOT come to both days!
-Once you enter the area you can not leave! Bring shulkers so you can carry more than an inventory full of items!
-No using Elytras, Potions, Tridents, Ender Pearls, Chorus Fruit, or any other block or item that gives you a movement advantage during this event. Using block glitches to get up into a higher area is not allowed and will get you kicked out of the event area.
-Don't tell others where to find the shulker boxes!
-Follow ALL server rules! If caught cheating in any way, shape, or form you will get kicked out of the event and there will be a punishment not limited to being able to not participate in the next Shulker Hunt, Egg Hunt, and Simplex Quest.
Time/Dates:
Day #1: Saturday, July 22nd at 8PM Texas Time. 8PM Central Daylight Time (GMT-5). 1AM (the next morning) GMT.
Day #2: Sunday, July 23rd at 11AM Texas Time. 11AM Central Daylight Time (GMT-5). 4PM GMT.
Remember you can only participate in ONE of the days, not both!
Duration: Each Event will last for 2 hours.
Donations: If you would like to donate to this event you can either...
-Place items that you wish to donate into a shulker. Rename the shulker to "Shulker Hunt Donation". Toss the shulker into the Event hopper at spawn or Choo's Donation Dropper @plot #16/17 inside the Shopping District.
-Contact Choo_Imperium and tell her that you want to donate some items to the Shulker Hunt.
The Event area will be closed shortly before and after each hunt to take away/place shulkers. Do not be in the event area during this time!
