Hi all,
I've been playing on this server for a few years now, on and off, and quite suddenly after setting up Minecraft on my new pc, I can no longer get into simplex.
I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and more importantly I have no issues with other servers.
My ign is GudWid (as I changed it thinking that might help).
Let me know if there is a quick fix or if I missed something during my absence.

"Failed to verify username" usually happens shortly after changing your username.
What usually fixes this is if you log out of your account in the launcher and then log back in.
So open launcher, click your name in top left corner.
Click log out.
Log back in.
And boom should be good to go.
Let me know if this helps, or if you still have problems afterwards.

This might help, maybe not, but this has happened to me (I didnt change my username or anything) all you have to do is join single player, leave and join back. This has helped me three times, so I hope it can help you!

Thanks for all the replies guys, sorry I've been away.
None of these options worked for me sadly and I'm beginning to run out of ideas.
I only changed my username in the first place to try to see if that helped since I had this issue with my old username too.
I'm going to try using a different launcher but if that doesn't work I'm pretty sure I'll just have to live with the fact I can never play simplex again :/

Hey, I was wondering that if I end up buying a new account, if I'd be able to continue with my builds and such since that is where I seem to be right now. Not even sure that will help but might be worth a try...

If you do change your account, make sure to post it in #ask_staff in the Simplex discord so that admins can transfer ypur account information.
Do note that after account transfer your older account gets banned so it isn't used as alt.
When posting provide your current ign and your new ign.

We have also found that simply changing your launcher to the regular launcher fixes this issue.
