Hi all!
It's time for 1.19, here is the plan.
Minecraft version
We will be upgrading to Minecraft 1.19, unless 1.19.1 comes out in time for us to test it first, but I doubt it. Go prepare your clients during the down time
When / down time
Start: Wednesday July 13th, somewhere between 16:00(4pm) and 17:00(5pm) Central European Summer Time (CEST). Convert to your time zone HERE
End: When it's done, it migh take a few hours.
Border expansion
The border for the overworld and the nether dimension will be expanded like this:
Current border radius: 16000
New border radius: 19000
That's a 41% increase in world size, for those who are wondering.
1.19 terrain will then be found outside the old border of 16000.
End dimension
The end dimension will reset during the upgrade, the current radius of 20000 will be kept.
As usual for end resets, we have a no-reset-zone in the middle that will not reset: from block 1023,1023 to block -1024,-1024.
