Punishment and Duration: sd ban
Reason: for removing clay from sd
Appeal: about 1 month ago i was sd banned for breaking clay in the marketplace and not putting it back afterwards which at the time i meant to put it back but got sidetracked and forgot to. because of this i was jailed but then a few days after i got out of jail i was sd banned.
having talked to some of the staff on the server they have said that griefing is not sd bannable and only stealing is bannable which i have never ever done on this server. i hope that you can negotiate my sd ban.

However, you seem to have forgotten what you did. You didn't just inadvertently break a few blocks; you removed -all- of the clay flooring from -all- of the shulker placement spots in the Marketplace. Zanril brought the missing clay to my attention several hours after the clay was taken. If you had intended to replace any of it, you'd had ample time to do so. This wasn't just some accidental minor grief; it was theft. Bizarre theft (I mean, why would someone steal roughly half a stack of clay blocks?). But still theft, and a breach of trust. Even so, I didn’t SD ban you then. You were SD-banned due to the reasons for your tempban, and only -after- all the other reasons came to light: Using illegal mods (autoclicker to defeat the AFK kick while AFK at the enderman farm), cheating via known game exploits, theft/grief from the Marketplace shopping district, and xray for diamonds. In your short time here, you pretty thoroughly established yourself as an all-around cheater and thief (or griefer, at best), with little-to-no regard for -any- of our rules. I will discuss your SD ban with sneakykitty, since the Shopping District is her concern. Pending her decision, the SD ban stands. If you can play for 6 months with no further breaches of trust, you may appeal your SD ban at that time. |

according to lucidflight and sneakykitty you can only be sd banned for stealing items from containers such as chests, barrels, hoppers, minecart hoppers, minecart chests, and shulkers none of which i have stolen from ever.

Theft from those things are ofc theft, but theft of blocks like what you did in the marketplace is also theft. Much like theft of a beacon by taking all of the blocks or even some of the blocks would still be considered theft. So count about 6 months ish out from the time of the theft of clay blocks and have another go at appealing. I can see if it was just a couple blocks being an accident with haste and a good tool but not all of them. Have a good day though  |
