---1.17 Storage Organization---
Hello everyone, welcome to my double thread The first part of this thread is about the continuation of this thread.

I've updated my list which organizes every single block and item obtainable in survival, for 1.17.

This is being presented to the community as an idea, and is not an active project by me or anyone I know. I developed this out of my own curiosity for knowing how this idea from CptChlorox would work.
CptChlorox and I have stayed silent about this for a long time - about a year and a half. I've hinted at what this was while it was kept secret but no one could get how it could work.
This idea is for a shopping center was developed by solving a problem CptChlorox has with shopping - finding specific items, particularly uncommon ones, can at worst, take you around every single shop you can find and leave you empty handed because either the shop doesn't sell what you are looking for or the item is out of stock.
Currently, if you want to find specific items, you can use the directory created by ZephyrKitty_ for the shopping district, you can know a shop that sells what you are looking for or you can ask in public chat if someone is selling the item you are looking for so they can sell it to you directly.
The Trade Plaza answered the question of - what would a shopping center look like if it was designed for shopping for what you are looking for exactly? ---Sellers Perspective ---
When a player wants to sell items here they contact a manager so they can give them build trust to ALL sections of the Trade Plaza. The seller then goes into the appropriate sections and sets up their chests, barrels, or shulkers. In front of the container, sellers would place a sign and obey the following format:

The sign system that the marketplace and shopping district uses for keeping track of player activity would be used here but I have not settled on what would happen to all the items that a player is selling if their sign is out of date. Without anything else in place, the poor Plaza manager would have to travel through the entire Plaza and find 1 specific player's things they are selling and take them off the floor

I put together this video showing how a buyer would shop here - for name tags in particular. The picture gallery shows the side view of the section in the video and what I think the front of the Trade Plaza would be like.
I must note that:
• This is for demonstration purposes only.
• The video starts at me entering the "unsorted" section.
• The section is incomplete, and does not show all the items that would be sold in it.
• The amount of players selling name tags and their prices is absurd for some, I know.

Before you enter each main section there would be a lectern that would list all the subsections, and what items are being sold in those subsections so you would know what to buy in there before entering it. You can disregard the directory if you think your knowledge of the section or your common sense is developed enough to know where items are sold without the assistance of the directory at your own risk.

---No idea is without its problems and drawbacks---
• Not everyone is going to like where I think items should be for each category
• Since all sellers of a single item are in one place, flipping is going to be rampant.
• Building this is going to be a huge undertaking for reasons too extensive to list here.
• The claim size is going to be determined by the lengthiest section.
• The more items items people sell in each section, the longer each section is going to be so it will need some back end space to grow

---Final Comments/Triva---
• This is the "Plan B" I've been referring to all this time.
• CptChlorox and I don't know what to call this place. Trade Plaza is just the latest name I've given to refer to it.
• When the marketplace was under development, there was a opportunity to adopt this idea over building a shopping center akin to the shopping district. Since Cptchlorox and I were more familiar with the shopping center w/ plots model we went with it instead. I was slightly saddened by the thought that I would have to maintain the secrecy of the Trade Plaza further when it wasn't adopted. I could have revealed what this was to everyone and had more people to talk to regarding this beyond CptChlorox but that never happened, so I was left alone with CptChlorox to ponder how the hell this thing would work.
• The original purpose of organizing all those items in the text file I shared was for figuring out where all the items would go in all of the sections for the Trade Plaza, not for sorting all your items for your storage room but since it could, I thought, why not share it?
