Hello simplex! Has 2020 been a downer? Trick or Treating canceled in your area? Have no fear, the annual Trick or Treat event is here! (sort of haha) Every year we gather in a location on the server to go trick or treating!
How does this work you might ask? There will be pre-built houses and a town. The /warp comp is already set up. Then you simply follow the roads and when you get to a house you'll:
-Walk up to the door
-Step on the pressure plate ONCE (stay on the pressure plate until you get the item!!!)
-The door will open
-Item will be tossed out at your face
-Move onto the next house
I've been collecting and buying items from the shopping district for about a month as well as taking donations at my shop! (plot 8, hopper on the outside of the front door!)
Anything from Elytra and diamonds/diamond blocks to netherite ingots, scraps, debris and a few netherite god hoes. (the best kind of hoes!)
All of this will be taking place Friday October 30th in the evening Time to be announced. (US Central time) and Saturday October 31st mid day.
Some rules!
-You may only go to a house ONCE. Only step on a pressure plate ONCE.
-You may only go to the event area ONCE. Please bring shulkers to this event, if you do not have a shulker, one will be provided to you, if you ask.
-once you are done trick or treating, you may come hang out with friends/explore but if you are found going to the houses again, you will be in trouble!)
-Follow the directions on signs, if they say "Take One" only take ONE. This isn't unsupervised teenage fun time, be respectful.
-If someone is in front of you, give them time to get their item. Do not crowd one another, taking each other's item. There will be enough stuff at every house for everyone no need to rush through it.
-Iron doors are OFF LIMITS outside the jail maze. Houses will have iron doors for myself to have easy access to refill dispensers. do not attempt to break into the back areas.
My personal home is also at this event. My storage area is behind iron doors as well. This area is off limits.
-Follow ALL server rules!
Breaking any of these rules will result in you going to jail and items you got from the event taken back. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
Staff will be there watching!
Bring your spooky Halloween costumes! (not required but would be fun <3)
