Right to the point... I have set up my base near the original world border and have big plans for it. This thread will be a overarching documentation of me building my new base, and the things I do to the area around it. I like building and I like showing off my builds, but I also like hearing other people's opinions and getting their feedback to improve my building style. Hopefully, that is what this thread will become. The base build poll determined I should build in this style: (The final base will look nothing like this, aside from materials and basic ideas.)  |

Update 1: I've started by making some interior spaces after flattening a massive area in a Savannah biome. The rooms are very large, with double-wide walls, as to have an interior design and a different, exterior design. Here are a few of the rooms I have built so far: The Art Gallery:(Purpose is self explanatory)  The Ballroom:(for dances and get-togethers)  This is what the hallways look like (pre-decoration): And the exterior (so far): Feedback is always welcome! Updoot:The first floor is complete*! It's now completely** covered in spruce. 
In between each floor there is a crawlspace! Hard to get into and annoying to walk around in, but I thought it would be fun to add
 *not all rooms are completed... ** not everything is going to be covered in spruce... certainly not my two story library.

Update: A few things have been added! This is the main hallway. Big staircase with a living space. Could use a little more decoration.  A quaint, collector-approved library with a distinct lack of books.  A nice place to hang out:  A game room with a poker table, bar, mini golf course, ping-pong table and archery range! A very safe place to hang out.  The "White Room" (a guest bedroom) that Bob the Meme was kind enough to decorate for me:  An undecorated blue-themed guest bedroom:  |
