I was banned for a week about a year ago (Who_Got_Memes) Ban

It's up to a different member of the team to decide about your ban, but I'll chime in on this whole idea of "I did X, but X wasn't specifically forbidden in the rules". We see that argument FAR too often.

We don't have rules for every single different way you could be a jerk. We have a handful of rules, and STILL people use that as a defense, "it wasn't in the rules".

Think of all the rules as extensions of a baseline rule -- Rule #0, if you will -- "Don't be a jerk". If you're the kind of player who has to have rules specifically spelling out EVERY SINGLE THING you could do wrong, or otherwise you're going to do whatever the hell you feel like, then you don't belong here. If you can live with the simplified "Rule #0", then by all means be welcome and have fun.
