I have reason to believe my friends account was banned because I bought stuff for him server using my same bank card for my own stuff. If this is the case then I do apologize I was just helping my friend out

What's your friends IGN (in-game nick)?
If it's AdrianMendez, there is no record of them being banned.

Make sure they are on the right server and/or have the right ip

OK, detective Mark to the rescue. Here's what happened:
[12:29:55] [Server thread/INFO]: AdrianMendez issued server command: /abandonallclaims <-- he did that so that's where his claims went.
[20:01:33] [Server thread/INFO]: com.mojang.authlib.GameProfile@56d137da[id=<null>,name=AdrianMendez,properties={},legacy=false] (/73.136.204.225:58113) lost connection: Disconnected <-- also a bunch of lost connections
Firstly, AdrianMendez used the command /abandonallclaims, which abandons all claims. This explains the loss of all claims.
Secondly, AdrianMendez keeps losing their connection to the server. This is not due to any ban, but some network issue, I'm guessing.
