Hello,

I have been accused of stealing. Yes this is true but I had time added on for no reason. I was talking trying to talk to an admin. But instead I was talking to loft. I got called multiple things such as a Fu**as* and idiot by them. which goes against the 4th rule. I am willing on making this up to fuzzy and she is fine with it if i give her the stuff but to do that I need to be out of jail. So can we please forgive and forgive this and it won't happen again. I am just trying to have a fun time building and playing with my friends. Again I am deeply sorry for this and this won't happen again. I got greedy and I am trying to fix it so please help me out.

Penguin40 based on log-block you not only stole 5 nether stars from FuzzyPeach shop but also 14 diamonds from Kitty (a mod) shop and 20 diamonds from MISC shop (owned by Snurre, one of our admins) on the nether roof. In addition to 4 days jail you received shopping district ban, and that’s a rule by the shopping district managers including Kitty. FuzzyPeach is willing to forgive you. However rules are not for bending. Since you admitted to stealing and want to improve your playing by the rules, I will reduce your jail time to 2 days. Shopping district ban will stay in effect until we see your long term improvement. you also need to give back the stuff above to the shop owners.

Now, I've never seen people testify against the offender on ban appeals, but I think its about time it be done here. I attempted to help Penguin40 for 20 minutes (timeframes shown in the logs below), he just refused to listen, and begun to act entitled and "brat-y" to try and get unjailed. Not to mention, Penguin40 attempted to lie to Mark, and tell Mark that "he'd been framed". Out of context, Penguin40 is making accusations that I called him a "fuckass", when really I was just trying to subtly point it out to him that you are allowed to swear on simplex (looking back now, it was definitely not my smartest move.). With multiple prompts from not just me, but multiple people, including sneakykitty, CptChlorox, and others. Stealing, acting entitled, lying, and putting out false accusations to try and better your cause, doesnt really merit a 2 day jail time shortage in my opinion. These are just some of my opinions that I hope are taken into consideration by the staff.

Hi Lost, I understand your point. However, the fact that Penguin is banned from the shopping district shows the depth of his punishment. It’s now up to him to learn the lesson. Of course continuing to break rules causes higher punishment and eventually leads to perm ban. The reduced two days of jail time doesn’t change the effectiveness of the rules. It just accelerates the next outcome based on player’s following steps. I rather like to see faster outcomes than keeping a player in jail for so many days just to let them out and watch them get banned. I believe you understand my viewpoint.
