Several users have recently been talking about adult themes in general chat. I'm not saying that jokes shouldn't be made but directly referencing to explicit sites, selling explicit photos or directly talking about adult themes should be punishable especially on a server with minors. It is not respectful it is just appalling that some people believe they can expose young children to this with no respect to their parents or the minor. I believe staff need to do more on this issue as schools are closed meaning more minors are on the server. No one is telling you what you can or can't say but exposing children to explicit materials purposely is classed as grooming in my country. It's not a joke. I fully respect that staff are busy and cannot permanently go through chat logs however I believe these issues should be more seriously dealt with. This is a game for all ages and the server isn't 18 plus. In addition to players if someone asks you to stop talking about it just stop or take it elsewhere to DMs. If you are a minor reading this please consider people younger than you and how it would be treated if you discussed such a topic infront of your whole school. Anyone could be reading.

Hi Thenathankitty,
I don't disagree with your sentiment here at all, but I would like to point out this is already being 'policed'.
When the staff are aware of such issues, we already warn/mute/jail the offenders.
If it's happening when staff aren't online, please absolutely let us know either in Discord by pinging @moderators or use the /report function in-game.

So also when you talk about explicit chat i also decided to do some research. So yes i agree that pushing 18+ material should be punish worthy. But when i originally read this i though oh he must be talking about explicit language ie swearing. So i learned that minecraft actually has an age rating of 13+ for online use. These parents that dont want their precious child exposed to stuff like this need to understand that first off mine craft online is rated basically T (teen). Now when you read what is in a PG-13 movie i found this This may include stronger language, extended violence or sexual situations and drug-use. So these kids are already being exposed to sexual situations just by watching a PG 13 movie. So we cant really put this all on the staffs shoulders but we need to remember that parents are allowing their kids on an online community where we will have some bad apples and we might not be able to take care of it right away. Now to wrap up this lesson as phleanix said we already do punish people for this and we do out job. We have plenty of staff to handle it and we have the best staff team that i have ever worked with we dont need improving we need players understanding that we are all human and all the staff are adults with real world jobs along side of staffing this wonderful server. If there isnt staff online right that second we provide means to let us know about an issue which many people use on the daily and it gets taken care of as soon as possible. You can also say hey can you not talk about that. They may listen they may not just dont try and be a mini mod and keep telling people what to do (Note:this is directed to the community not singling anyone out in case someone does read into this as that) We always value feedback as it sometimes does show holes in the server staffing however this really is basically saying hey fix something that cant be fixed.

Kind of off topic but I was just about to make a post about like "Age Rating" for this server. So I'm glad this exists haha.
I figure all servers are like 13+ since COPPA and stuff
