I thought about this when suggesting this idea initially. My only worry is that it will be hard to tell staff from players. I really like how it's very obvious who is staff on the discord. One potential solution could be having god ranks as just a slightly different color from normal users.

Make the discord role color 75% White + the color of choice so even if you choose Moderator Green or Admin Purple the color will be too pale to be exactly like the colors simplex staff use.
