Punishment and Duration: One week temp ban
Reason: The reasons I were given were stealing, tormenting a player, griefing, and making a swastika.
Appeal:
I asked for specifics on the discord and I was told that they would be provided here, and to "look up how logblock works" so in lieu of that I can only surmise what happened...
What I am guessing happened is that helpers/mods were doing a routine check of Logblock and saw me take tools out of Phoenix's shulker boxes and chests. Since I only started working for him yesterday, and mods do not have the time to keep track of who's allowed to be where 24/7, I'm guessing without context they could only assume I was stealing these tools. In reality, Phoenix left these tools for me (you can corroborate this with him). He is working on a rather massive build on his base and he hired me to clear out quite a bit of underground. The tools are mine to use, to be returned to him after the project is done.
Correct me if I'm wrong and this is NOT what they were referring to by "stealing."
Now earlier today a new player ended up griefing another one of my friends, I teleported to him to see what was going on and tried to talk the griefer into returning the items, explaining the consequences. The griefer ignored both me, my friend and the helper who was on duty, so the helper jailed him. Afterwards I hung around the base and jokingly drew a swastika in a wall, much to my friend's amusement. The helper saw this, and again without context, was horrified at what was to them, griefing and tormenting a player whom he had just helped another griefing case seconds before.
This, coupled with what they saw on logblock, was the clear mark of not a player hoping to have fun, but a griefer hoping to torment, steal, and ruin the experience of other players. With the facts that they had available, they were left with no choice but to issue a ban.
Again if I'm totally wrong and this is related to something completely different, let me know, and I'll be able to address it more specifically.
Thank you!
