I think it's about time we make the Forums website look more alive by adding some interesting features as well as good designs and some cool color combinations that attract attention. There's no shame in getting inspired from other websites out there and maybe we could come up with even better ideas. This is an update that the whole community would appreciate!

This forum is running ProBoards, we don't design the website ourself unfortunately, we use an already designed forum service for our forum.

Okay, I know you guys didn't like the suggestion because you're used to this simple format and you just want it like that. But could there be any additions possible? Don't you think that there could more to the community on this platform? I'm really looking forward to this and I hope that at least a group of people would work together to find some good suggestions. Meanwhile, I'll be submitting mine for you until you feel like something could work out just fine.

Instead of saying "we need to add new features" why not list the features you'd like to see.
Don't expect us to come up with ideas for you. This is a server that doesn't like change.

Oi i like change. I think the website/forum is a bit plain.
Would be fun if we could have things like pictures on the side (Like slideshow of cool buildings).
And like a calender with events (Like server events).
Just to make it appealing for newer players.

Having arena matches, auctions, comp deadlines, etc in one place could be very helpful. |

Not saying we're against changes. I just mentioned further up that our forum is a pre built forum service that we use. If we would want to curtomize a lot, we either need to change forum site to something that offers this functionality, or make something ourself. Both options will either remove all previous posts, or need a ton of manual effort to move every post, if a migration tool does not exist. The forum is our "web site", but we really don't have a web site. It's just a forum, with it's limits. We do have simplexmc.com which is just a quick an ugly web site with some links and a graph. |

Thanks for the well-detailed explanation. Now I could understand why you guys are not considering any changes for the website. I will do some research and if I ever find a solution I'll post it with some evidence. |
