Hello staff,
I am writing this appeal because I was banned for x-raying, while I firmly maintain that I did not x-ray and staff made a mistake. When I went mining, I went to y=8 to find some diamonds because I needed more to buy wool/dyes for my mapart. I did not use torches because I have Optifine lighting. I understand that when I mined, I was extremely lucky. I haven't had such a successful mining trip in a long time. I believe the reason I was banned was because there was lava ahead of me and I turned left (as I always go another direction when I see lava because I cannot be bothered to continue straight). Right immediately when I broke those blocks was diamonds. While I know this is suspicious, I did not x-ray. I was even surprised that I was that lucky. I would not jeopardize my reputation and my presence on the server like this. I love being a shopowner in Simplex, and i am on about 5-7 hours a day finding materials, making banners, interacting with players, etc. It is one of my only joys in life after experiencing a depressive period for quite a long time. I kindly ask staff to check out my stripmines near my base where I have spent hours mining, and look over evidence of my recent mining mission. In that mining mission, I dug straight all times except for when I ran into lava and went up a block or two if I didn't get any luck on the level I was on. It hurts me deeply to see players be upset and angry at me for something I didn't do. I have said in chat numerous times that I don't see the reason for x-ray, as it ruins the fun of finding diamonds. I respect the rules of the server always and have had no prior incident.
