Punishment and Duration: Jailed for 2 days
Reason: Shearing a chunk of oak leaves from /warp farm from the trees without chopping the entire tree down.

Appeal: At the evening of July 28th I was jailed for a duration of two days due to shearing a part of the oak tree line of it's leaves at /warp farm. Although I was aware of the rule that you are not to only take down a part of a tree, such as cutting only easily reachable parts of the tree and leaving the treetop, I didn't consider the fact that the leaves of a tree are included in this rule. I realize that I am at fault for not considering this before I sheared the trees, it didnt cross my mind. I would like to request the reader of this appeal to recognize my actions as the result of an innocent misunderstanding and to therefor consider unjailing me. Thank you for your time.

I was not the one to jail you, but the reason for the jail seems to be you not replanting jungle trees.
The correct staff member will provide more info I guess.

Regarding leaves, if you shear leaves without chopping and replanting the trees, there will be no leftover saplings for the next person.
That's the reason you should not just shear a tree.

From what I've seen there were plenty of extra oak saplings in the chest, but I understand that doesn't justify my shearing. Anyways, I do vaguely remember myself not replanting a jungle tree. I did this because I had seen numerous times before that there were areas of warp farm not fully replanted, and I wrongly assumed the rule was to replant when possible (for example checking the chests for saplings and picking up saplings in the area to replant), because otherwise there wouldnt be multiple unplanted trees around warp farm. It wasn't possible for me to replant at the time (as I sheared half of said tree) unless I cut down the other jungle trees and waited for enough saplings to replant all of it. I would like sincerely apologize for my misjudgement, it wont happen again. I understand I was rightfully jailed for the rules I broke, but I would still like to request an unjail as it was due to a misunderstanding and not malice.

Leadership and obedience are the two legs on which an individual's life is balanced. Without both, victory cannot be achieved. Leadership depends on information and comprehension, not so obedience. Sometimes the individual may choose to share details of their plan, often they may not. In either case, obedience must be instant and complete. Such automatic response relies on trust between the individual and those who follow them. And that trust can only be obtained through leadership.
