Hello Ben, thanks for the appeal. Let's go through the evidence here, note that diamond ores are marked by clusters of torches for the purpose of visibility. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ First up, here's an image of a tunnel you excavated. You started at the end of a cave, deciding to dig straight through the stone wall and were lucky enough to hit diamonds only a few blocks in. If it were this alone I would have been willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and let it slide, though I would have been suspicious. But you didn't stop there...  _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This next image shows the continuation of the same tunnel, from a different angle (to the top-center-left you can see the cluster of 4 torches seen in the last photo near the obsidian). From that first set of diamonds from the last photo, you chose to mine another ~15 blocks deeper into the rock, a straight line directly to another set of diamonds (bottom left). Then you turned and went down a few blocks, again directly to diamonds (bottom center). And then, because apparently the first 17 diamond ores weren't enough, you dug one more squirly path directly to a 4th cluster of diamond ores (center right).  _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ That first spaghetti tunnel is more than enough to justify a ban, but for good measure here's a second little tunnel you made where once again you decided to dig through undifferentiated rock and just *happened* to dig directly to diamonds.  ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ In summary, we have significant evidence indicating that you have cheated by using X-ray to find ores, so your sentence of a 7 day temp-ban will be upheld. You may return to the server after the sentence is complete, however understand that you will be under increased scrutiny from now on. If you are caught cheating on our server again you will be permanently banned. |

Are you suggesting xray is a glitch, or what kind of glitch are you talking about?
But to answer your question, glitches are not supposed to be in the game, and using them to your advantage is considered cheating.
What kind of glitch did you use?
And btw, glitches that often come from lag, that makes you see through ground, does not make you see diamonds only but not stone.

Yes exploiting glitches is not permitted under rule 5: simplex.boards.net/thread/1511/rules- [5] No Cheating Or Hacking Using something that gives you an advantage over others is not okay. This includes cheats, item/entity duplication, and mods that give you an advantage, including things such as minimaps with hostile mob blips and schematica's print feature. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Regardless of whether you used X-ray or some other exploit, the issue here is that you've used some illegitimate method to obtain those diamonds, thereby devaluing the time and hard work that other players on the server have invested. The whole point of the survival gamemode is that you can challenge yourself to achieve great things by grinding. Our community is of the mindset that a game that gives you whatever you want the instant you want it is a boring game and is not worth playing. We gain a sense of fulfillment and pride from our hard-earned achievements. If that is not the type of game you want to play, then honestly you might want to search for a server that better matches your expectations. |

Ok il admit I used x-ray becouse i needet diamonds and I didnt have enough time to find them I hope my mistake can be forgiven.
