No harm in trying to join. We have added a whitelist for now, and you can't even join at the current stage.

So just upgraded most of my stuff and I thought I'd have a go at the SUES shader pack.

LOL that's going to take some getting used to be the effect is amazing, pretty sure I'm going to die more often with it and the water seems a bit more tricky to see but the rest of it is great.

Sleeping mechanics won't change. It'll be the same as it's always been. Entering your bed should reset the timer that causes phantoms to spawn, even if you don't actually sleep and skip the night.
