Alright found out why I was jailed. However, I made the trashcan out of popular request, and the other people that also left "junk" there were not jailed. I don't think my work deserves jail time. Also, if making changes to the end farm is considered grieving, you should have jailed me for fixing it too.

I am not an Admin nor staff, but I have a voice, just like everyone else. What Game_Gril did was of pure kindness, improving the condition of the End Farm. Many people have asked for it, like they said. I have also built things in the End Farm (i.e. a potted plant with a compliment) and was not punished. I greatly request that Game be released. They were only adding an essential component to the End Farm to circumvent lag. I was not punished. They shouldn't be either. I again ask Admin to lift the punishment from Game, as they do not deserve it.

Bottom line, it wasn't yours to make changes to. That alone should be common sense. If everyone made changes that they felt the farm needed, it would be different every week and probably would be way less efficient because of changes it didn't need. This was a problem ages ago with the other end farm, and players had been jailed for doing the same thing in the past. You had the right intentions, you were trying to make the farm better for everyone. But even though it's a public farm, it still has an owner, and you still need permission from the owner before you make changes. That being said, I personally don't believe that you should be jailed for half a week for this. There should've at least been a sign at Diwanshu's farm saying "No modifying the farm without permisson" or something.

Ok let’s be honest here...
Even if your friend gets punished, the rules still stand. If you didn’t build something yourself, do not touch or take it, bottom line. It doesn’t matter if you’re fixing the end farm or not, this is the staff’s responsibility, not yours. A player doesn’t have to be involved in every single thing, and as much as that is nice, the staff should only be the ones repairing or even touching things there.
Game_Gril was trying to help, I understand that, but they broke a server rule, and they should know better. I’ve had several situations like these when I was operating another server, but griefing by all means will lead to a jail/ban, even if you were helping or not.
Just accept your punishment, and stop defending her, because that’s not going to do anything unless you learn from it. You should have known better. No matter how many times you complain, nothing is going to change. Waiting it out seems like the best option until a staff member replies here.

I get that nobody is allowed to touch the end farm without Diwanshu's permission. However he has not been on for over 2 months, and the farm needed work. I was the one that helped Darth reactivate the end farm, and then I fixed it again when Snurre (I think?) couldn't get it to work again. Why was I not jailed then? Why wasn't Darth or Snurre (I think?) jailed. And, like I said before, why wasn't the various people that left junk and random pets at the farm jailed?
P.S. I was going to modify the end farm so that the endermen can be one shot-able again, but I guess that would be greifing.

I vote to un-jail Game_Gril or lower their sentence, jailing someone because they were trying to help, and for almost 4 days seems a little overboard.
Letting them off on a warning saying, that it isn't allowed, or lower the sentence to 24 hours seems more appropriate.
Especially since this person had no malicious intent, and was acting on behalf of other peoples requests.
Yes they broke a rule, but giving them a 4 day jail time seems a little like overkill dontcha think?

Hi. First, I suggest all other but game_gril reads this: simplex.boards.net/thread/869/read-important-ban-appeal-informationWe don't need a ton of comments from random people, that can just lead to ugly discussions we don't want in here. About your jail time, yes you were jailed for altering Diwanshus end farm. Even if it's open to the public to use, it's not for the public to change or alter in any way. That is concidered to be grief. You would not be happy either if someone changed your builds without permission. If you didn't make it or get permission, don't touch it.
About lowering the end farm. It was lower earlier, it also had more redstone to bring items up for filtering, and it had even more restone to shoot pearls into the void when storage was full, and to filter out non-pearl items. It was the single most laggy place on the whole server, and I asked Diwanshu if I could re-do the redstone in the farm, since he's been away for a while:
Lately I have been fixing the killing chaimber of the end farm a lot, players keep destroying blocks in there. Since we(staff) are the one to fix it all the time, I added obsidian a few days ago to prevent random block damage in there. It seems to have helped.
The deactivation of the farm was done by meehan, he was trying to get to the bottom of all the lag we've had recently, and was deactivating a lof of farms. If you or someone else reactivated it, I guess it's fine. I have no idea who did that.
I don't know about other players leaving random crap and pets either, we can't know of stuff we don't see. Though altering the farm is way worse than just leaving a pet.
If you cleaned up after others, it's fine too. But keep in mind that if you remove stuff that was allowed by the owner to add, or the owner did himself, that is concidered grief. It might be better to just tell staff about it.
Owner being offline 2 months is also not a good reason. We leave players stuff intact, one day they might come back, and it's nice to have all their stuff still there.
All that being said, I think you get the picture. I'd be willing to cut your sentence in half, if you understand what I just wrote. Grief is greif no matter how you look at it.
