Hi there. I'd like to share a new project of mine. This is a really long term project, I have no idea if I will ever finish, or even get to a point where I can call this a city. But anyway, I've got myself a mushroom island, and I thought I could share some pictures along the way, if anyone of you are interrested in following this. As some of you know, I'm usually terrible at building something that looks fairly decent, so this might not be the pretties city in the end. But we'll see how that goes... I might ask for help, or if anyone wants to build some fancy buildings later on. My plan is to make a modern-ish city, with a few(or a lot?) of skyscraper-like building, and maybe regular small and big appartment buildings, towers, and other stuff. My plan is far from complete though, so it might change. So I found this mushroom island while exploring, made this small claim and made a sethome. A few weeks later I got back, only to realize I had another players big claim one block to the side of mine. This person was kind enough to give me the island, since they wasn't gonna use it anyway!   So here's the whole island:  I claimed a part of it, and made a big sign with what I had in my inventory at that time, to make it visible for random players passing by, that it was claimed:  |

And then I made a road, yey!  Sunset...  Then I took a break for a month, I get tired of doing the same thing really quickly.. When I got back the other day, I started building something instead of just a road. Not sure how pretty it is, and it's kind of not a city-building at all...   |

Looks like a a great place for modern builders to express their creativity. I bet Mr. Teapot would be glad to build something here for if he was still active

That looks pretty good... I have some experience making roads like that and making buildings, but I think I’ve lost some of that talent... 😦

Ops, I haven't seen the last post here. Feel free to ask me ingame to look around the city, if anyone want to make a build This is btw no place to have a home/base, but as long as you provide your own materials and finish your build, you can build something. I'd like for it to be somewhat modern or at least fit in a city. There is already quite different building styles in this city though. So, here's a little update with more pictures. Oh, and a lot of this is not finished..

This place is looking really good, I didn't realise yours was the island with the Mine sign on it. Think I rowed past it prior to the start of your builds.
Quite a few new builds there but I like your green tower, Mario's "cool" ice tower and Kitty's urban tower block.

Do you like construction? I certainly love construction, and there has been a ton of beautiful buildings rising up... I couldn't resist the urge to post a few pictures.
