What the hell? I hosted myself a server, I know how hard it is to fix issues and fucked up rams. But I have donated to this server, and it is really fucked up to try to repair it 24 hours long... This is not real... Thats not accommodating or good at all. Its ridiculous
actually, needing 24 hours to fix a vanilla minecraft server. But ok. Probably donated the money for nothing

Read the latest post on "Let's not go bananas...", Kitty is a server moderator/"Helper" and she gets news updates from Meehan and the admins. Yes, votes and claims and homes are messed up. They're doing they're best to fix it. They are human and can't work forever without breaks. There are hundreds of people who love this server or even live this server, and even if it may take a while, the admins won't let those people down.

yah... what about backups? Setting the server back to another or older version. That is not an excuse for me.

Ever since a crash the first week this server was up, Meehan personally backs up everything once a week. I'd rather be set back a few days than restart completely or have Simplex stay down forever.

Mate... that was my Argument... that is not hard to backup a server a week or hours. I once did that myself because of issues... Than the server programming is not perfect or good enough comitted.

It's probably a bit harder than that. I think it was the plugins itself that crashed and corrupted. Those might not be as easy to backup.

Alrighty if a little more info will help easy your frustrations here is how it be: Meehan and admin Dysue123 are in Australia and our server host is in Canada. they have been given the run around all "night" long (day time for them). He could turn the server on right now, sure. but then all hell would break lose. no one has claim blocks or votes: he's working out a system so admins and helpers can give those out to people. We've been having trouble with the plugin that helps us identify who griefed and gives us the ability to fix it. then there is the /sethomes. also every ban was undone. people who have been caught greifing or cheating would be allowed to join and just go wild on all builds that we've all been working so hard on and with the plugin acting up we would not be able to guarantee the recovery of your builds. Meehan is sleeping right now. shock to find out he's human, I know, but tis true yall. sorry if I sound a bit short this time around but i think this post is a direct slap in the face to everyone who has been working on getting this fixed. just because you once went through something similar does not make it the same. When Meehan is awake we will request him to take a break from fixing the server and post on here so everyone will be comforted by his wise words. apologies if my updates were not sufficient enough to ease your mind.

Well let me say I prolly can be accounted for 50% of the donations $60-100. So om just going to say this flat out I have money invested am I worried no! Should you absolutely not! The issue is that there are timezones were dealing with. Our owner is working hard and even stressing out over this. He is trying. Give him some time. I have seen servers go down with simpler things than this and take longer to fix. Time is a thing and people have lifes out of a game.
