If you have been banned, muted or punished in some way. This is where you have the chance to appeal your punishment. The purpose of appealing your punishment is to possibly reduce or remove your punishment sentence. Do not privately message any staff member in regards to anything relating to your punishment. If you wish to get another staff member's opinion, ask for one in your appeal.
To make an appeal first make a thread with a subject containing your username and punishment, then use the following format when typing it up without deviation.
Minecraft Username: (In-game name)
Punishment and Duration: (Ban/mute/jail etc)
Reason: (Reason for punishment, eg. xray/hacking/bullying)
Appeal: (Appeal here)
There are two ways you can appeal your punishment.
1. The first scenario is if the staff are correct. Tell the truth and admit to your crimes, apologize to the server/staff for your actions and swear to never repeat your mistakes. Don't leave anything out. Tell the truth, and the whole truth. Depending on the severity of your actions and how much effort you put into your appeal/apology will factor into how much we reduce your sentence (if at all).
2. The second scenario is if the staff have made a mistake. First, ask the staff for the evidence which led them to their verdict. Tell your version of events and what may have led the staff to believe a mistake was made, but be clear and concise. Swearing and/or insulting the staff will not do you any favors. If there isn't enough evidence to convict you of a crime, your sentence will be cut short. On the other hand, if there is overwhelming evidence against you, you risk increasing the length and severity of your punishment for lying and wasting the staff's time.
Obviously, sometimes a punishment could be a combination of both scenarios, e.g. you are convicted of stealing two apples, but in actuality you only stole one.
If that's the case, do your best to implement both options when appealing. i.e., apologize for the one apple you stole, but ask for evidence for the second apple.
