1) Absolutely no clue as to why I was banned save the reason, "XRay." I DO NOT XRay, and I am quite lucky. I have a technique to mining which is to tunnel at y: 11 and mine all of an ore pocket as diamonds generate near other ores commonly, namely redstone and coal. It doesn't work WITHOUT fail, but it is a surefire way to get alot of diamonds. This is coming from a UHC player who looked up the fastest ways to get diamonds in under 10 minutes. If you do not believe me, just replace all stone, dirt, gravel, andesite, diorite, and granite with air. Then you'll see.
2) Because I didn't use XRay.
(I followed your layout, so just look at that if it doesn't make sense.)

You did indeed stripmine a bunch, but you also mined straight to diamonds right besides your stripmine for no apparent reason. Luck is a thing, but being lucky can't be consistently repeated. I didn't ban you without a close look at your mines. Also, for what it's worth, diamond ore does not generate near other ores but is instead random. The fact that diamond ore is sometimes right next to other ore is by coincidental as the terrain is quite cluttered with ore. Anyway, onto what brought me to the conclusion of xray, in no particular order: Here you just randomly mined into the wall of a mineshaft, straight to a vein of diamond ore, without any incentive to do so. Only stone was in front of it. No other poke holes around. Same as previously described. Once again. Looks like this is becoming quite the theme. And two more. Once again, only stone there, no other ores. You would have no way to know either of those veins were there without xray. Do I even have to repeat myself at this point? One does not consistently just happen to randomly mine straight to a vein of diamond ore that they should have no way to know is there without any incentives. Here you came down the mineshaft and immediately dug straight towards those 3 veins of diamond ore, and stripmined at the very left and right of the picture afterwards. Oh, and there is this spawner you very suspiciously found to add to the entire matter. And this gives a bit of an overview I guess. Every circle is a vein of diamond ore you uncovered. Looking at it with xray you basically mined every diamond ore vein in the area that could without your tunnels screaming xray. I believe I didn't cover the 7 rightmost on that screenshot previously. Anyway, as I said at the very start of my post: being lucky can't be consistently repeated. It wouldn't be luck if it could be. If you still want to argue this is not xray feel free to explain all of the above.

Happily. Every single time I went off to mine was because of other ores. All the empty spaces where other ores. The one that most people will probably call XRay was the dungeon, which was because I heard a ton of mobs under me, hoped for a cave, and found a dungeon. As you can see from the screenshot, it was RIGHT below me. For the tunnel patterns, I estimate every 8-16 blocks and go at least 16 blocks in each direction. Hence the patterns. So unless you have clear proof like THIS: There is no reason you should ban people who are good at mining. Now, onto the cheat system. You picked the worst system in existence. Requiring 3 minutes per block. JUST GET A PLUGIN LIKE THIS: cdn.makeuseof.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/oreb.jpg if you are worried about Xrayers!

Apparently you did not read my post. There were no other ores in every example I posted. Just stone.

*shrug* The first 4 screenshots show that clearly enough, surely? The 9th to 13th screenshot show that pretty clearly as well. I specifically showed (all of) those screenshots because they were the most definitive, meaning they had no other ores to speak for amonst other things. I check for this when investigating a mine as the user may be using xray as I don't want to falsely ban people either. I'm not going to get on and take even more screenshots right now.

that was for killbot. that is very clearly xray and want to see what he has to say about them. just curious. I got on and took a look around as well, Killbot. I agree with Veil without any doubt. We have this thing called logblock. you should google it. there were no ores leading to any of those.

someone clears a single path and you come 4-5 minutes later and uncover hidden diamonds. lucky hit, mining behind ores.. i think not.
