Food Kits

I think food should be added to kit tools or its own kit to help relieve the problem that starters always beg for food and that causes spam and is inconvenient for other players. I dont wish that it is alot of food just something to let the starters play. Maybe it could be its own kit like kit food of 16 or 32 Beef every day.

It is a simple, semi vanilla SURVIVAL world, if they ask remind them of this. They do start off with a sword and pick and 20 bread. If they haven't started to get a footing after that bread is gone they're doing it wrong. (Or died in which case they could ask for food I suppose) SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST!!  |

Exactly, like Kitty said, it's the same principle as finding food in singleplayer, except you start off with 20 bread  |

As annoying as it is to have several people asking for food at the most random times, It's generally resolved fairly quickly by the community. The issue I feel isn't big enough to add food to the kits, and like Kitty said, this is a survival server.
One of the first things a Minecraft player should do is locate or generate a source of food from the environment. There's many, many, MANY ways to obtain food in this game, so the obvious penalty is hunger if a player fails to do so, which leads due significantly reduced health.
How hard is it ACTUALLY to make a hoe and break some grass, kill zombies/skeletons for rotten flesh or bones for bonemeal (crops), make a fishing rod, or even attack wild chickens/pigs/cows/sheep?

Personally, I think everyone should start just with their bare fists and there should be no kits at all. That's my opinion as a hardcore veteran of Minecraft. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go hide in my basement. I think there's a husk outside.
