Greetings everyone. The Explorers 's Guild (EG) has been something I've been wanting to create since I started exploring around my base. The whole goal of the guild would be acquire knowledge of notable locations around the overworld of Simplex. The EG would be made up of Explorers and Managers to achieve this goal. As the shopping district owner I simply do no have the time to build,
organize, manage or even the resources to create such a thing solo. I'd
love to see you guys and girls, especially the bored vets to come
together and make this. This is how imagine the guild would be
With the current world border at 42,500 with fully zoomed out
maps having the entire world on one big map is not possible. The only way
to make it possible would be to break it up into quadrants. So there
would a guild hall at each of the 4 coordinates of Positive/Positive,
Positive/Negative, Negative/Positive, and Negative/Negative. At first we
would start at Positive/Positive (since I live here) but once the mega
map would be completed another guild hall would be made in another
quadrant. Going over old locations would be needed since the world of
simplex is ever changing.
Taking advantage of the the 4 different quadrants Each guild hall would be themed after one of the 4 classical elements.
Fire - Positive/Positive Volcano (Fortress?)
Air - Positive/Negative Floating Islands, Sky City made of Quartz.
Water - Negative/Positive Ocean city in a glass dome, "Atlantis"
Earth - Negative/Negative A Grand Oak Tree
The construction of the halls would begin with the mega map (see attachment below) which is a 20x20 (400 item frames) wall of fully zoomed out maps (level four)

12.5 Stacks of Leather (For books and the item frames)
50 Stacks of Sticks
and 400 blocks (chests, dispensers) to store the book and quills for specific maps
This would all be needed just to made one mega map. Once the wall would be made the hall would be constructed around it. The elemental guild hall and the wall could all be separate since, if the world border ever got expanded then what was built around the mega map would have to be widened.
So after you made your Wall O' Lag and the Hall around it there are going to be two types of people on the guild
The Explorers would be the backbone of the guild traveling the world marking down the coordinates of any player-made bases/structures in a book and quill (attachment below is an example), and filling in maps along the way. The maps they fill would be a small piece to the mega map. Once a map is completely filled they will give it to a Manager.
The Managers would be the ones that would have the guild hall claimed, be responsible for taking in new members, and building the mega map with the fully explored maps given by the explorers. They would have to keep track of who is exploring what map and where it would be placed on the mega map when they return it to you. The mega map would have to have coordinates on it (Like A4 G13, E8, etc.) so that the manager would know where to put it. The Manager would be required to have a /sethome at the guild hall so explorers returning to base can teleport to the manager instead of walking/flying back to the hall.
