ok so ill admit on solo player i use mods...like decoration and the one to make me tiny as a baby lol...im not gonna lie...i like decorating alitlle TO much and i like being a chibi lol...but i dont use mods on simplex that i actully switch from forge to my normal lol...but i hear you all say optifin or something like that....my questions are these.
1. what does pptithing do?
2. if i get it like the others will i need to use forge again?
3. if i need forge for it how do i turn the decoration and avater cutosme thing off so i dont be a bad girl?
4. ehat is this mining limit i hear of and how do i reach it?
sorry for asking to much lol i dont know much on mods still so i dont know what these all are...besides the decorating that is cuz face it...thats to much fun to decorate lol...thanks for the time and the info love you all.

1. No idea what "pptithing" is, but assuming you meant optifine... Optifine is a modified minecraft client.
2. Once again assuming you mean optifine, the answer is no. Optifine is stand-alone client, not a mod that you need to add to a client. No need for forge if you just want to use optifine.
3. See 2.. Skin settings can be changed in the skin settings menu if that's what you mean.
4. The mining limit is a server plugin called Anti-X-Ray. On simplex it's set up to only have a limit for diamond ore, and the limit is 2800 points. Each diamond ore you mine substracts 100 points from those 2800 points. Once you've reached less than 100 points you can no longer mine diamond ore untill your mining points refill to over 100 again. It refills points as your player moves, as far as I can tell.

OptiFine is a mod which increases Minecraft performance, increasing FPS and making the game seem smoother. The mod lets you toy with more options in the game. The main feature is the zoom though, by the press of a button you can zoom in like a camera. With OptiFine, you used to be able to see if someone had an enchanted item pre-1.3, but that eventually got added to the game.

well tiny or not i can go tiny in solo so no worrys lol and the zoom is like binoculars right? what eles does it do? i read the site yet...i have no dang idea what any of it is lol...only mods i ever used was decoration and thats self explained but this options thing? like what should it be set too and all that jazz?

Optifine isn't really a mod that changes anything about the gameplay. As I said, it's just a client. Essentially optifine is a performance-enchancing (meaning a more stable and higher framerate) client with some cool extra features (such as dynamic lighting, the ability to turn dynamic FOV off, and the zoom feature, for example) and a TON more options. For example you can disabled specific particle effects if you don't like them. Anyawy, if you get optifine (which I'd recommend) you don't have to change any settings, but they're there should you want to. It's
