**This is my own opinion and does not reflect the whole of the staff team.** A member of our staff resigned last night due to personal reasons (that were keeping them away from the server) and the persuasion of some of our players. I want to make it clear not a single one of our players has any right to tell any single one of our staff team they aren't active enough to be staff. Our real lives has been and will always, ALWAYS, come before this server. We deal with all sorts of players but the ones that get under my skin the most are the selfish ones who think them and the server should be put first before our own lives. We've given plenty of solutions to be able to contact any member of staff at any hour of any day if needed. We might not be online every waking moment of every single day but that doesn't mean we aren't still present so not a single one of you should feel like we are understaffed. Disappointed would be an understatement, livid would be more accurate. So the next time any of you feel the need to act like a selfish little child keep it to yourself because not one of our team members should ever have listen to you about their status as staff and their activeness on the server. And the members who have left will always have a place back as staff whether any of you like it or not! I've plenty more to say but but none of it is in any way nice so I'll keep that to myself.

I back this post 100 percent I am very upset that players talk about staff about their activity. You all need to realize that every staff member is an adult we don't get summer vacation most all of work weather full time parenting or full time jobs. We try our best and we have some of the best staff I have ever seen on a server. I feel if you talk about a staff member taking a leave of absence from the server for personal reasons you need to go you are poison to this server and family.

Sorry to hear about this unfortunate news, and I hope that the staff member who resigned has brighter days. I find it indirectly disrespectful for players to criticize other players, moreover, staff members, for something small as inactivity.
I agree, life comes first before Minecraft. People need to take care of themselves first, and that is of upmost priority. Staff members, compared to players, have to deal with both their lives and the safety of players. This is an exhausting task, because I do the same thing 40 hours weekly, instead I’m making sure that no car accidents occur. So, I understand.
Under the assumption that all Simplex staff are adults, we have our days. Adults don’t have all the free time in the world. Things do happen, and there will be times that not all staff members will be available. It doesn’t mean that they won’t get back to players, because they do. In the event that something is wrong, we, as players, have the right and blatant ability to use /report or tag staff members on Discord. Many other servers don’t give players such luxury. We should use those resources, and have gratitude that our requests and complaints are answered, instead of pointing fingers.
I haven’t been on Simplex for a month (the 19th will be a month), and the staff members are benevolent, in my opinion. Overall, it’s generally not a good idea to criticize others and worse, persuade them to think that they are not welcome on this server. Everyone is welcome on Simplex, and the staff take up the majority of this responsibility, by weeding out players who may disrupt the experience for everyone.
Please appreciate what we have, as players. Once again, I sincerely hope that the staff member who resigned finds themself in a better situation, for good.

I knew the staff member who resigned had hard life and was aways happy to see her online. To hear that people were back talking her without knowing what she is going through and caused her to resign makes me sad. I wish best for her and will be looking forward seeing her on server again.
