Hello,
My username is Sluggie909 and I was recently banned for using x-ray in your Minecraft server Simplex. This ban consisted of a week locked out of the server.
I am hoping you could shorten the ban period and possibly give back some of the loot for the following reasons.
Firstly, I found this server through friends and was having an awesome time building an underwater base with the 1.13 water features. I was constructing this base with PWG04 and Blameworthiness and was making great progress. Now after helping PWG04 mine using the straight tunnel mining feature (I don't know what its called by PWG04 told it was a great strategy) we had some success and managed to mine a fair bit of diamonds, gold, iron and redstone.
Thinking that I could help speed up the process on our underwater city and help my teammates, I foolishly acquired X-ray and used it briefly to mine a little bit more. Of course, I am not that experienced with servers in general and therefore their rules and regulations,and after mining a lot of ore it gave me the cooldown message. I of course then realised that this was a mistake and hastily turned it off, praying that neither Blameworthiness or PWG04 would find out.
But it turned out much worse. After leaving the game on the 16th of April an admin came round and clearly saw my foolish 'x-ray' mining. I was banned, which was fair, but what wasn't fair is that the administrator stole PWG04's 4 or 5 hour stash of loot, thinking that it was all gotten through 'x-ray' when in reality it was through hours of hard, honest work of PWG04's behalf. He obviously was incredibly angry at me and I now wish I had never done it.
Could you please give back as much of the loot is possible to PWG04. Message him (he is on forums or server) to get the specifics but I don't want his experience of this awesome server to be ruined by a foolish half-hour of hacking by me. I now also fully understand the rules and consequences of hacking and really want to get back on to play with my friends and help make up for more stupidity, so could you consider reducing the ban time?
So that is my appeal.
