Punishment and Duration: Jail 3 Days
Reason: "stealing from shopping district by EmaJor7
Appeal: Hello, I recently got access to the shopping district
I believe I made 4 purchases

"Pick any Two" enchanted books- 1 diamond
two stacks of stone blocks- 1 diamond
two stacks of mycelium- 1 diamond
32 blaze rod- 5 diamonds

Unless I misread I followed all the posted signs correctly and put the diamonds in the slots that I took things out of. I took nothing that i didn't put diamonds back in for so im wondering why I was jailed? I am 22 and from america and only play minecraft to "spend" time with my girlfriend who lives in Ireland, I have no interest in stealing from a shop and risk getting banned from a good server. If this cannot be appealed I understand and I will patiently wait the three days. thank you for your time but there was certainly a mistake on my or someones else's part

Hey man, sry about this whole thing.

The issue was with the enchanted books: the chest above the one you bought from was labeled "pick any two for one diamond" but the chest you bought from had prices labeled inside the chest on glass panes adjacent to the items. If I remember right you bought one with Efficiency IV and something else that was supposed to cost 2d. The second book you bought had Unbreaking III and some other enchant for 3d. In total you only underpaid by 3 diamonds.

I was reluctant to jail you in the first place; this was minor theft and I suspected it had occurred due to this sort of price confusion. But it did qualify as theft, so I gave u the standard 3 days and figured I'd just wait for the appeal to hear your side of things.

Thanks for your patience and for being so polite in addressing this. Your jail time ends effective immediately.

Thank you for your help, I certainly misunderstood the pricing I will pay closer attention to the pricing. I will go back and pay the right amount if the books are still in my inventory, thank you for letting me out!

No problem man! Oh and I already repaid the shop owner so don't worry about it (it was only 3d, not too large a price to pay to keep the peace). Plus I believe he recently demolished his shop to move it to a new plot so there presently isn't a shop.
