So The_MaskedMarvel (Emajor7NeedsALife) has been PM-ing me, refusing to make a real appeal thread. So I made one for him.

Emajor7:     You didn't include your IGN, but I'm just going to assume I'm speaking to The_MaskedMarvel, judging by the timing of this message.

                    First off, thank you for insulting my intelligence. I've been staffing on servers since 2015; I know what X-ray looks like when I see it. Players mining                     legally don't mine multiple tunnels directly to diamonds. Furthermore, we have multiple plugins on the server that supported my initial assessment                     that you were cheating.

                    Secondly, if you want to make an actual appeal you can do so at simplex.boards.net/board/4/ban-appeals. However your present ban is temporary                     anyway, ending in 7 days.

                    As for our server not being worth your time, we honestly don't care about what you think of our server. We're very happy the way we are; we're                     proud of the community we have and the server that we've made together. If you will abide by our rules you are absolutely welcome to be a part of                     our community, otherwise it may be a good idea to find a server that better fits the way you play the game.

oof:          Interestingly enough, Mr Experienced staff member, I happened to find those tunnels already there. I was in the cave and looked through it and                    found the tunnel with what I assume was someone who disconnected and left diamonds there.

So, now we get to go through all the evidence:

First of all to answer your most recent claim, you most certainly did make those tunnels. We have a plugin called logblock which records the history of every block placed/broken on the server and every chest accessed. I went through your tunnels and they were all carved out only by you. No one else was in this area before you; only your username is recorded to have removed those blocks. In fact, I looked around in spectator mode and I can't find evidence of another player within 100+ blocks of your mines.

Here's an example of what I see when using logblock to check your tunnels:

Now let's look through your mines. *Note that I used logblock to rollback the diamond ores you mined so that we can see what's going on:

So this first image alone is actually more than enough to justify a ban, as it shows three separate instances in which you mined tunnels directly to diamonds. This isn't even including all the other ores you mined straight toward in this image (the iron on the bottom-right for example).

I saved the best one for last. Now this is a fun one because you saw these diamonds through the bedrock and dug down to get them. You literally couldn't have made this one more obvious if you tried.

So in summary, you've now cheated on our server and lied to us - you're 0 for 2 on the morality test so far.

Your 7 day ban will stand. After this ban expires you will be allowed back on the server, but understand this: You will be watched. If you ever cheat on our server again you will be removed permanently.
