I was never told what I did wrong. I was not given an opportunity to correct anything I had done wrong. I was not warned of my impending ban. It's because you and phallus have no intention of following the rules. You've been banned once for the wall built around another player's home. It was later reported to the staff that you guys built a swastika near another player's claim claiming its a "religious symbol." And more recently, when you say "working on your house," do you mean this room?

Quite the contrary: you were told more than once by staff that building shrines to the most hateful period in recent history, and inviting others to see them, was not OK. Yet, you persisted. You ignored the second chances that were given you from the previous events. You were told, but you chose not to listen. "I was suddenly banned." This was coming for a long time. Again, you were warned that your actions were inconsistent with this community. Yet, you persisted. In a community of people trying to build great things and help one another, you and your friends `Phallus15243` and `Nom_My_Shark` create monuments to hate. You three have acted as a team in this. Building shrines to hatred and racism. Signs such as (paraphrasing) "Zionists must burn" and "Niggers aren't people" and "Whites Entrance, No Colored, No Hispanic, No Chinks". Images such as giant swastikas placed high on a building, or flaming swastikas inside your home. Inviting friends to see them. And as a last straw, yesterday `Phallus15243` mined diamonds with obvious, textbook-example xray. I speak for the team, including Meehan, when I say to all three of you: it's time for you to go. One last thought: you have cited "free speech" as your defense for what you've done in the past. If you aren't familiar with the comic strip "xkcd", you might want to take a look at the link below. As the author of that strip put it: "... someone once said that defending a position by citing free speech is sort of the ultimate concession; you're saying that the most compelling thing you can say for your position is that it's not literally illegal to express." Regarding the first two screenshots, We had a case like this before. If the builder so chooses to build it where no one else can see or get to it, and they don't have people tp-ed to it, they are free to have it. If something like this is put up again out in the open, we will not hesitate to take action and start temp or banning said builders. We aren't stupid, we know what a swastica looks like and we also know what the hindu symbol looks like. We were born but it was not yesterday. We could have demolished the structures if asked but I was under the impression (as given by the moderator quoted above) that as long as it was out of sight, it was allowed. That sign that says free trade slave labor is just a joke. I am not sure why you have included it as evidence for my ban. As I typed in chat on the night of 12/14-12/15, I am the slave. Slavery is not a racial concept; all races have been enslaved. The sign was not meant to be construed as anything but a joke. Again, I would have been happy to remove it if I was given the chance to. As for the walls around our base, they have been there for days and several players and staff have seen them. They are there to delineate the border of Raccoon Town as opposed to Hoodie's area. We were planning on building a rail network along those sky lanes and the walls. And about my new house, no. If you fly over the walls and continue straight over the ocean, you'll come across a cobblestone and wood build on a small island. |
