Punishment and Duration: 7 day ban
Reason: killing player with
lava
Appeal: I believe this ban was hastily applied to me after a series of other bannings. Although I admit I killed with lava which was against the rules; this was justified due to it being an attempt to defend my home when /helpop requests were not being responded to. In summary I believe this action was conscionable and this ban erroneous. I also believe the person that reported me should be futher punished for causing me to be banned by lying/omitting why I was killing them.

After you reported that players were griefing you on the 26th, I skimmed the past reports to see if these player's names came up anywhere else. That's when I found the report on the forum where sonic says you killed him with lava. Another staff member responded but did not take any action because he could not verify what happened. I looked into it and found the logs which show you killed him twice with lava.

I looked into sonic's part of the wall since it happened around the same time. The other players added to it days later so I'll disregard their parts.

Now going by the timestamps

1st: you kill sonic with lava

2nd: Sonic reports you on forum

3rd: Sonic starts construction of the wall around your home

4th: you report him for the wall

5th: you kill him with lava again

Note that you kill him before the wall is even constructed, my guess is he built it in response to your actions but no way to prove that.

Either way, both of you reported each other and both of you broke the rules so you were both punished.
