Ok. It has come to our attention again about some dialog between some people about some serious stuff and I wanted to get in front of this. I didn't think I would ever have to do this with people who are not even my own children, but guess I'm not called "Mama kitty" for nothing.
Direct messaging people is fine, everyone has the right to do so. Now lets talk about the 'birds and the bees.'
Hormones are crazy when you are young. Many people do things they regret later. This community is based around a game. Sexting through DM or other platforms is risky and most definitely NOT appropriate for this game or community.
Do not send nudes to anyone. EVER. Whether you are 13 or you are 31, whether you are single/married/in a relationship/ect, it is not ok at any time to ever send anyone naked photos of yourself to anyone for any reason. That is how your image gets downloaded to the internet and viewed by horrible people around the world. If you are under age, and you send nudes to someone that is child porn flat out. Doesn't matter if you "consented" to sending them or not. Now age of consent is different in every country/state. If you are 17 or younger, you are considered a minor in most places. But you should really just not send those kinds of photos over the internet.
"Hooking up" on a block game with someone you've only ever DM-ed is really a bad idea. You don't know these people as well as you think you know them. Lying is easy.
If someone is harassing you, trying to talk to you about things you are uncomfortable with, or sending you images you do not like, you have got to let a staff member know or we can not help you. You also need to block all contact with that person. Don't be afraid to tell staff, most of us are adults who have been around the block once or twice.
Now on a different but just as serious topic: Rumors. If you heard something from someone about another player, don't go talking shit behind their backs. Don't play the he said she said game. Leave gossiping at your school/work/sowing circle/place of worship/ect. This is not the place for that crap.
If you have concerns about another player you may let staff know and we will look into it and handle it the best we can. Shit talking about someone about a situation you have no idea what happened is bad and you should feel bad. This is a place for people to forget about all the shit in their life and play with blocks. Stop making people feel like crap and not wanted here. If you don't like them or have some grudge against them you can /ignore [playername] in game. There is a "block" function on Discord.
And just for good measure: don't have unprotected sex unless you want a baby.
