I'm wanting to have a tournament and give like a stack of diamonds to the winner. Might make brackets and scheduled matches. Then go off that, then have a final match to determine the winner. Haven't determined a runner up price, or if rewards will be giving for each match won. Wouldn't you guy's be interested?
Also, would be nice to keep items you get from battle. However, that's a no-go unless we can implement contracts.
Edit: You and your combatant must mutually agree to keep items. This, of course depends if staff allows this.

It would take a lot of work to organize, and I'm hoping since you made the thread that you're willing to put in the work to make this happen. If you need any donations, such as diamonds, for the prizes let me know. I'll play in the tournament (if i'm available to play whenever we have it), but I probably won't make it far XD. |

I think PVP is stupid, and I don't think a lot of people would enter for a fear of losing their items. Most of the people joined the server to build and play with the community, not PVP so it doesn't seem very popular imo. |

Items dropped on death are locked so only the owner can pick them up (unless they unlock them or leave the game). The rule is that you cannot prevent a player from getting to their items to pick them up. And of course, as a rule of thumb, if something's not yours don't touch it. So yes, if you happened to get someone else's drops somehow then you'd have to return them. Unless they give you permission to keep them. I don't know if a poll would have been the best idea for this thread because from what I understand, you're looking for players who would be interested, and if anyone is. It's not like we're petitioning the server to host these, so I don't know if it's even necessary to have a poll because the no's don't really mean anything. As long as people are interested in holding and participating in it, who cares who isn't. Having an anonymous poll defeats the purpose of finding who's interested and what people's thoughts are, as the options aren't openended. Maybe a google form would be more effective? |
