This post is for those who may have lost their /sethomes that were linked to their awesome builds. Post what the area around it looked like, what it looks like, and what its made out of. The more detailed you are about it the better.
a good example: I have a large mansion made out of dark oak and has a large glass front. in the front of it is a fountain made out of stone brick with a very large maze in front of it made out of spruce leaves. it is in a birtch forest.
Now it's your turn y'all!
if you did loose your /sethomes and you had a bed at your home (and used it) whenever you /home (name) you will be placed back by your bed. I had found that out yesterday.

We(Myself, Xthgambit, MissBHaven and Mythgraven) have a large town in a plains, bordering a dark oak forest and a swamp, as well as a flower forest. A few key points are we have a large tree in the center of town that has a bar inside with brewing stations, we have a library made of birch trunks, and a large dark oak and birch wood stables with horses in most of the stalls.
We had an older claim in a desert next to a village, the house is mostly acacia and cobblestone, with a large enclosed farm and a cobblestone bridge in the sky leading to a second house made of granite. We abandoned that claim and it is up for grabs, so if someone comes across it and wants it they are welcome to it.
Edit: I see Cdizzy hasn't been online in the last 24 hours on the boards, just in case... he has a base near ours, it's a glass dome on the water in a swamp adjacent to a flower biome.

Hope my set homes are intact, but just in case, I have a house made of diorite and blue glass, it is in the ground, near it is a giant chest room of the same material. There's a silo, a giant pool and a 200 block tall tree. That and everything near it is either mine, lucylangkau/Gobuckyourself's or Christa_Reeper's.
In a dark oak forest/taiga area is a 2 story dark oak farm, my old farm. Near it is an unfinished spruce building.
I have an underground glass shop, but that prob won't be found again if I lose my homes.
I have an underground skeleton grinder but that wouldn't be found either. It's in a taiga.
That's really all I've built.

 his is what my house looks like. I doubt anyone would be able to find it though, even myself, I never saved the coords. I traveled further than most people would, and there was no sign of other people near it for a pretty good distance. Either way, it's worth a try. I traveled mostly directly north from spawn. Crossed a couple oceans and found a plains/ forest biome where I built my house on a hill and a farm behind it. |

Aside from what Nariza explained, we discovered a Skeleton spawner through an Abandoned Mineshaft that was beneath a Jungle. I placed a fair amount of stone bricks around the spawner to create a floor, and I turned the spawner itself into a Skeleton farm. The spawner block is incased in a mixture of mossy cobblestone, and baked stone. It's got a simple redstone circuit attached between a lever and a lamp, sort of an emergency shut-off switch in case I need to get into the room I built around the spawner. The center of the room is unfinished, didn't have a chance to put stairs in; but it goes down underneath the spawner to a setup of eight hoppers and three chests to catch drops.

hey everyone i didn't quite had a house yet but i started terra-forming and building a harbour...had a bunch of cows and sheep together with two horses and two donkeys in a small area with double fences...4 of my other horses are in the flattened area behind the spruce tree (this is an older screenshot though)...the last thing i did was moving some chests and build a market tent with red and white wool stripes...
there where no other players around me (the next player was up north-west 500 blocks away) so i started there...i'm planing to build a little city |

So basically, my house consists of the sweet little build you see below you, which is my starter hut, plus a similar smaller one which is my afk fish farm. They are situated on a peninsula in an ice plains biome, not near any other players as far as I'm aware, possibly because the area is so devoid of anything but snow and more snow. They are roughly fifty blocks or so from an ocean monument, which I have cleared the interior of and am currently building the sand walls to drain the thing (except the glitch stole my sponges and an inventory of sand, so draining it is now going to be much, much harder). There's a sign on the front of the house that says "GavstarB starter home" so you can't really mistake my house for anyone else's.  (the thing you see in the background of the image is a guardian farm base WIP that I am designing and will build on the server, because I built the house copy on my creative test world for this server) |

My home is a large castle, between two rivers, with 40 towers (approximate count), 4 gatehouses, a keep in the centre, a harbour dock, a watermill, and 8 duplex villager houses. Roughly 32,000 blocks in area.

I have three bases.
My main base is built in a Savannah, and is about 30 blocks from the shoreline. It is essentially a two story square block house built primarily with the native wood. The house is surrounded by a stone fence on three sides.
My second base is a large white "circular" tower built in a plains/forest biom. It is the one that I submitted for the build competition.
My third base is also fairly square, three story house built near the shore line in a plains/forest biom. Distinguishing feature: Jutting out of the third floor is a wooden "stairway" leading to the ocean. It is surrounded by a stone fence, and I have a "nether portal" built with dirt within the claim. The first floor floor is made with colored clay and sandstone in the center.

I don't have to worry about my home because I logged out there, but I did have two villages. The first is closer to goofycat's house for I found the village then found her house. I will miss it but if you find it enjoy it. The other village was my most recent project. Its made out of sandstone and had a few clerics, armorsmiths, and weaponsmiths or whatever they're called. One of the houses has yellow flowers in the fenced off "back yard" I trumped it and built a wall around it. Its made out of mostly stone brick with some britch wood and dirt. In the armorsmiths place there is a double wide with a single chest above it. They had some of my enchanted books in them amoung other things. If you need the items please enjoy them but I would like the coords to the village so I may claim them again. If you find this one i'll share them with you if you'd like.  |

I guess I should post here just in case.
I have a medium sized island off the coast of a savannah. On the island is 3 buildings(two wooden and one of sandstone), a well, a garden, as well as an entrance to a deep mine. I have no idea what the actual coordinates are so I don't plan on seeing that island anytime soon. It is fairly close to TaurusTheGemini's Savannah mansion.
In a flower forest I have two pens(which had animals in them at one point, nearby on a hilltop is a unfinished stonebrick and netherbrick home. In the center is a manmade tree surrounded by flowers . It is adjacent to a swamp biome/extreme hills biome.
Directly behind spawn is a pateau with a wooden staircase leading to the top. There is a house on the side of the plateau as well as a storage home in the center. There are various farms at the top of the plateau with glowstone lamps keeping the entire top lit. Directly to the left is a flattened area between two plateaus. One house of cobble/sandstone and one of birch. Near this area is a wooden bridge crossing a river. The bridge is made of wood planks, logs, fences, half slabs, and glowstone.
Off somewhere far away in a savannah near a desert biome is an area that is being flattened as well as lit up by glowstone lamps. The workings of a town in progress. ( i have a guesstimation on the coordinates.)
anywhoo... I just dont want my plateau near spawn to be griefed and looted. That would be a bummer.

So i lost all mt sethomes, votes, and claimblocks. Mostly intetested in my ocean monument. If anyone sees it its covered in sea lanters on top and is drained and walled off with glass blocks. Monument itself isnt important but i need to recover or destroy something inside of it.
